JJ 2014-04-11 10:56:27 Unknown
They called my cell too. I blocked them on my cell. They have used a few different numbers now and I have them all blocked.

This is Express Scripts, which handles the prescription benefit on my health insurance. They're not phishing, and they're not scamming. They were trying to sell me on mail-order options for my prescriptions.

Just received a phone call identifying my employer and the prescription meds/affilitated doctors trying to get me allow them to change my prescriptions to autofill by mailorder. I have never nor do i ever want to use this type of service.

817-566-0052 is telemarketer that tries to get you to switch your prescription coverage. ...even tried to imply that my employer (mentioned by name) initiated the to call me. This is definitely a number to block.

Received a call from this number. Did not answer and saw that it is a telemarketer
Terry 2014-03-12 23:15:40 Unknown
Called today saying they were Express Scripts and wanting us to change from retail to them. I wouldn't give much info because I did not originate the call.
Kim 2014-03-01 14:29:10 Telemarketer
The person from the number left a message. It was express scripts, the company our health insurance uses for prescriptions. They did leave a different call back number than the caller id stated.

I own a taxi and this number 1 (817) 566-5519 called me for a ride to the airport and then didn't show for the ride.
No ans guy 2013-12-14 23:17:33 Unknown
I just saved the number as "ZZ do not answer". The prefix zz so it appears at the bottom of my contact list, and the number is configured with no ring tone so there is no ring. That should do it.

Medco changed over to
ExpresScripts, if that is in fact who they are
calling. ExpresScripts is just a the more
recent name for Medco. Didnt leave me a
voicemail either, but if it is ExpesScripts,
theyre always preferring/selling their
mail order option. It usually can cost less
than at pharmacy-depends on co-pays.

I get this call every time I fill a new prescription. It is from a company named Medco which is a part of Express Scripts whom my company uses for our prescription pharmacy benefit. They are trying to get you to change from filling your long term prescription drugs from using a retail pharmacy to their mail order service.
I have been getting my medicines filled at a local Walgreen's for years and like that I can talk to the local pharmacist and still get some level of customer service. With everything in the world moving to being mail order and internet based consumerism it is rare to get to talk to a person and have any level of service at all.
I fill a lot of medication on a monthly basis due to using two types of insulin and asthma medications. Despite the potential savings that the mail order option offers I will stick with my retail pharmacy for the present time.

Why call it back ???
RJ 2013-11-08 14:33:23 Unknown
Why do you fools call back the number ??? That is what they want you to do...It's a way around the do-not-call list.

We have Blue Cross and Blue Shield Insurance. They have a contract to provide your regular medicines 90 days at a discounted price. They called my doctors office to get the prescription and promptly sent me my prescription for blood pressure. The cost was low. I had to call and double check. I was paying more at Wal-mart. They will call me every time I get a new prescription filled somewhere to see if this is a new prescription I will be taking on a regular basis.

Called me after 6p today, didn't answer as I didn't recognize the number. Tried to call back, and while the call connected, there was no ringing. Spam spam spam.

SAME AS EVERYONE ELSE...THEY CALLED YESTERDAY AND TODAY AND WON'T LEAVE A MSG..TRIED TO C/B AND IT IS A FAST BUSY SIGNAL...DON'T KNOW ANYONE IN FT WORTH EITHER! HOW ANNOYING!
justme 2013-03-12 03:41:18 Unknown
FYI - you need to research further. This is NOT a call from Medco. They have enough info about you based upon prescriptions and then offer to save you $$ by getting your prescriptions thru them. Then they ask you for your credit card #. BAD IDEA!! Don't be fooled.
Joshua 2013-01-31 22:45:57 Unknown
I thought it was a scam. So
I called Express Scripts directly, and they said they saw that I had refused to speak to the caller.
Apparently it's outsourced department requesting you to switch medications to mail order.

2 missed calls, last Friday and yesterday, with no messages left.
Based on other comments that this was tied to Medco (with whom we do business!) I called the regular customer service number for Medco and found out it was a notification of a mail-order prescription release date. For people who haven't done business with Medco, they recently merged with Express Scripts; perhaps the number still has the old caller-id name tied to it but is now also used by Express Scripts?
So, at least for me, this was a legitimate call from a known company, and I mentioned to the CSR that it would be nice if a message was left so as to know the nature of the call!

I received a call from this number today. Didnt answer, because I didnt recognize the number. I had a prescription filled yesterday for the first time at a Walgreens Pharmacy. I believe they sell our phone numbers to these companies and I will complain the next time I m in Walgreens.

Caller ID says it's Medco Pharmacy.
But we don't have anything to do with them so we let it got to the answering machine. They won't leave a message.
Our pharmacy leaves messages.

CID said Medco Pharmacy. Hung up before I answered. Now I know to not answer next time.
RT 2012-12-06 23:00:19 Unknown
This number just called me to verify some private information. They knew my employer and who provides my health insurance. When I suggested that they mail out information instead of calling me to inquiry about personal information from an unknown number, they quickly hung up. THIS IS A SCAM!!!
