This number keeps calling and does not say anything

Yeah well if it is suddenllnk why is it when i call the number back I get the reply that the number is not in service?

Its an insurance company cold calling

rec'd call from this # today. did not answer & don't know who it is.

817-583-7506 must stop calling.  It is a waste of my time.  We get several calls each week from this Fort Worth, Texas robo-caller.

Rec'd 2 calls today from this #.  No msg left & I Do NOT answer ph #s I don't know....

Do not call this number

Called my cell 7 times within a 5 minute period.  I don't answer.  Other posters say it is SuddenLink.  I have never heard of SuddenLink and have never done business with them to my knowledge.

Report them to the FCC, that'll put a stop to all the calls, indefinitely!  While reporting, you can also fill out the Do Not Call List with the FCC and put your name on their list and if they still call you, you can pursue legal action.  Visit www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/do-not-call-list to sign up.

This phone number is getting on my last nerves.  It just called me 10 times in one hour on my cell phone.  I saw messages that this number is from Sudden Link.  I DON'T EVEN HAVE SERVICE WITH SUDDEN LINK SO WHY IN THE HELL ARE THEY CALLING AND DISTURBING ME EVERY DAY 10 TO 12 TIMES A DAY.  I'm going to report them to the FCC.  I bet that will stop all unwanted calls coming to my line!  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize and I don't plan to start now just because this number is constantly calls me!

This number calls 6 times a day .I picked up it and the woman  claimed to be from Suddenlink . She tried to say I owe them money for services . My bill is paid on time every month .I went the extra mile and called Suddenlink and they said they were not affiliated with that number and its a scam .To report them to the police.

Continuous calls from this number, wont say anything when I answer. SO annoying!

As someone said, it's suddenlink's promotional calls. If you call back, they say they'll put you on the do not call list. We'll see.

This is a number used by a company called 'Phone Net' they call in behalf of Sudden Link offering other services. I had 3 calls today from that number. I think I have finally got to the bottom of this. Here's what you all need to do: Call Phone Net at 877-931-6756 and tell them to put you on their DNC (do not call) list. You may be advised to allow up to 30 days for the calls to stop, I don't think it will take more than a few days at most, but legally that is what they need to say. Even if you are on the National DNC list, you will need to do this anyway, because you were probably placed on this as a Sudden Link customer. I would back this up with a phone call to Sudden link at 877-305-7322 and also tell THEM to put you on THEIR Do not call list. Good luck to us :)

Calls from this number several times a day, up till 8pm sometimes later, to my cell phone.
I never answer calls from unfamiliar numbers. They have never left a message.
This has been going on for at least two weeks. As per this website, it is Suddenlink.

I did not block the number but 817-583-0926 also showed up as a missed call. I called back .. a man answered... then a woman came on the line and they neither one said a word.The original number was 971-208-9936 when I call it a recording came on and said the number was unallocated.

Contact Suddenlink, tell them you are getting these phone calls, provide a phone number if you can.  They will place a privacy notice on your account, so that will stop those calls in the future.

After not answering calls from this number for three weeks, I picked up and recognized a transfer tone. I waited 30 seconds and a voice came online claiming to be with Suddenlink. I gave them a tongue lashing then called my local Suddenlink rep. After some discussion, someone further up the line told me that Suddenlink had partnered with an outside sales company to get new customers. The mistake came when they turned over their active customer database instead of their potential customer list. According to the "director" I spoke to, they had been receiving a large number of similar complaints and were trying to rectify the situation from their end. It's the closest I have ever heard a telecom company come to saying "whoops my bad" I told them that this was an unconscionable violation of my privacy (::shrug:: trying to sound mean) and that any further calls would result in my immediately ending my service through them. I requested a follow up call from the (LOCAL) office when they had some kind of disposition on their efforts.

Been getting several of these calls as well over the past two weeks. I have Suddenlink, internet only. I have had my bill on auto-draft since day one and NEVER been late. I've answered two times with no one on the other line. I called back and the voicemail said they weren't currently in? I added them to my Ignore list on Android. Thankfully they don't leave VM, so it's like they never call anymore. Still, extremely annoying.

Called them back had a guy say he was with suddenlink and try to upgrade my internet.

I have used Suddenlink's website to talk to a rep online he couldn't give a definitive answer as to who/what this # was. Has said he will refer it up to supervisors. My advice enter this into your phone contact list as "DONOTANSWER" or "IGNORE" so you wont be tricked into answering it again.

It is Suddenlink Communications . They called today and finally spoke to me.

I spoke with a real Suddenlink representative when I dialed the 800 contact number on my bill.  She stated this is called SPOOFING.  I gave the Texas number to her and she stated it will take an act of Congress to do anything about this because of the privacy laws.  These people are scammers, period, using the Suddenlink name to get your info., giving Suddenlink a bad name during the process.

Getting numerous calls from this number and I am very ill.  Do not know who this is and they do not leave a message.

If it is Suddenlink, they aren't calling about a past due bill because I'm on automatic monthly draft and I'm not ever late.

Lets all start calling them and hanging up! We need to start at 8 in the morning and everyone do it once an hour all day!!

Call was anonymous.  When I blocked it, it was identified as 817-583-7506.  What we need are tough laws, with heavy fines for those selling personal phone numbers to telemarketers.  My phone number is unlisted, so they are not getting it from phone directories.

Suddenlink trying to upgrade your services

Got a call from this number today, picked but there was no response.

I have had so many calls from this number in the last week.  I to do not answer calls that I don't know who is calling, I have an answering machine and if it is important who ever it is can leave me a message I will either pick up or call them back.... This is getting old with me... I have sudden link but they have no reason to call repleatedly over and over and leave no message.  I don't know if  it is Sudden link only what the other posts say.  Please people STOP..
