This number left no msg, but when I called it 817 591 4534 it was an automated message saying that they had received my auto loan application and they were working on approval.  If I had not requested this loan, press any number on my keypad.  Ok.  Wat too wired.  Definitely did not apply for a loan!!  Now I wonder if I need to put a fraud alert on credit companies!?

I have people calling me, for a person with the same name, who used to live in my town, now they google the guy's name and my info comes up, and once you square it with one of these scum bags, they sell it to another, and it just goes on and on.  I not only get phone calls for this guy, I also receive his bills in the mail, to include his child support invoices, collection agencies, and even correspondence from the IRS.  However, its the phone calls that bother me the most, they call at all hours of the day and night.

I have found the answer to all these annoying calls, it's called the Call Blocker, and it works great. I was looking for the solution to these phone calls, for years, and this is the best solution I have found yet. I bought mine on ebay, and it works like a champ.

Currently getting 3-4 calls a day from this number. They haven't left any messages yet.

I keep getting calls from this number, but no one ever replies when I answer.
I have no outstanding debt, so I am wondering if they are looking for whomever had my number prior to it being assigned to me?
Anyway, I have NO recourse against the harassment for a debt that I do not owe, and it is EXACTLY this kind of behavior that gives debt collectors a bad name!

This is a debt collection phishing call.  They use a variety of numbers - 757-204-6208, 757-204-6209, 757-204-6331, 817-591-1369.  They are apparently looking for someone with an unpaid debt, not necessarily you.  The phone number they are using isn't necessarily accurate. They have a real odd technique where they do not say who they are or who they are looking for.  They want you to call them and give your personal information.  They use a variety of recordings of a vague nature.  Only naive people would call them back and support their way of doing business.

Have received about 5 messages from them over the past two weeks- no company name and it's always the same call back number they leave but with a different person's name (JR Watts, Drake Montalbano, Mr. Sanders).  I tried calling the number back twice and it just rings and rings and goes to a generic voice mail that does not identify the company.  It's a scam people- don't give them personal information!

I got a few calls from them so far.  I let them go to voicemail so I can laugh at the message over and over.  I am tempted to call them with my recorded phone line and phish as much info from them as I can.

I think they are tied to Home Depot, as I applied for a card there a while ago, but never put anything on it, as I ended up buying what I needed from Sears.  So I terminated the account, which had zero balance.  The phone calls started 3 days later.  I have no debt in collections, and have a good credit rating.

They are always very vague and suggest that they have some papers which need review / statement.  I lul'ed.

They use several phone #'s 757-215-1915, 575-215-1519, 817-591-1369, 202-683-7750, 757-215-1918, 804-657-5050, 202-556-2729, 757-271-2746, 757-251-1918, 817-591-1369. I block em as I get em. Something "Shady" about this group.

I get this call but i don't answer it but it has been bugging so i deicded to look it up on the net now i know that i am not in debt because i use a prepaid card and i live with my parants for all i need to do is help with the bills and housework so how in the hell can i be in debt? i have no idea what they want and it is creeping me out

Turn it around on them and call the number repeatedly and HANG UP and call right back and let them know the feeling. That's what I've done and it seems to be working.

Left a message stating she was Amber Olsten and said there was a descripancy in a file that needs clearing up; this really sounds like a scam of some sort because they did not ask for a name.

They called my work today.  When I answered, I saw the suspicious number on the caller ID and didn't use my name in my greeting.  As I suspected, she asked for me (we don't take personal calls on the business line) and I said I wasn't there and that my name was Pam.  She said she was Ms. Jones and she left her number and said I would know what it is in regards to.  (Which I don't).  Then she told "Pam" that she would try me on my cell phone (which she didn't).  Just a debt collector trying to be sneaky.

Have received about five calls from them the last couple of weeks, Amber, and today Ingrid....no company name, "paper has been placed on their desk, and they need a statement type B.S." They are overstepping their bounds, and I'm sure they don't have a clue

Says he is with the states attorneys office.  Something about a payday loan in CA. Never had a payday loan or been in CA.

I am recieving the same phone call from the same number also another number but have asked them repetidly to stop calling my phone does anyone know what can be done to get them to stop they have to be violating our rights in some way. If some one knows hit me back ill check back later

Recieved a call yesterday on my cell from another number, pretty sure its the same person. Left a message, "This is Adam, garble garble, something about important papers he needs to finished up."
Number was: 575-215-1519.

I called them today as I thought it might be important b/c of some financial things I am going thru and a lady picked up saying it was some company CCI and she hadnt a clue what I was talking about,maybe wrong number.
Got another call about 10 minutes later with the 817-591-1369.
I answered it. Adam again, looking for David somebody, told him he had the wrong number, he appologized and asked if I knew where David was or his number, said I hadnt a clue.
Hopefully no more calls.

I too like many others are getting calls. They always leave a message stating that they want to get "my response to matter that was sent to his office, and that I need to speak to you to find out how to proceed with this matter."

Today, they called and I answered....no one was on the other end. I even waited to see if their system had not connected us.

These people are going to get an ear-full from me!! Uggggg
