I also received a call from this number. But this lady was claiming that there was a complaint against me from Kays Jewelers and that they were saying  was in possession of stolen merchandise.  They wanted me to pay $1000 dollars by the 28th or I would be arrested. Then they got my prepaid card info and I told them I would give them the money when I got my taxes back. This morning they called again to my fathers house and said I needed to call them by 2 pm today or I would be in jail by the weekend. I called and the lady was very rude to me. Told me I had to give them the whole 1000 or I would have to figure out how to pay to get out of jail this weekend and them proceeded to hang up on me.  I contacted the police department and they informed me that it was a scam and not to pay them anything or contact them again.  Also that I needed to get my number changed and check my credit report.  So I contacted Kays and they said that they did turn it over to a collection agency and gave me the number.  I contacted the collection agency and the lady I  spoke to also said it was probably a scam.  I got things settled with the agency and got my number changed.  Beware of scams like this. Had me scared to death.  The lady that called me said her name was Miss Wilcox and she was calling from the Ohio State Attorneys Office but the number is a Texas number. She wouldnt give me a first name either. I talked to her before I contacted the police and she had a totally different tune when I said I had 400 dollars to give her. She then gave me a name called HPC out of Jacksonville, Florida and told me to go to walmart and send it via Moneygram.

call back and let them know you have an attorney.... this is a company trying to make ends mean as a bottom feeder.....let them know their statute of limitation is over.

I got a call and she left a message saying there was a complaint against me and I needed to call or have a lawyer call on my behalf. I live in SC and this is an Arlington, TX number?? Strange....
