Received call a few minutes ago showing this number with a second call less than a minute later showing "no data sent". Funny thing is I live about 15 mi from the "claimed" area this call comes from. Can you say spoofing. We never answer a call we don't recognize, EVER!!! I it's important, they'll leave a message. Thank you caller ID.

If you really want to stop these people, complain OFFICIALLY to the Florida Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Affairs. Contact Monica Brown of their Telemarketing Dept at Monica.Brown@freshfromflorida.com and/or go to the website www.800helpFLA.com and use the online complaint form. Be as specific as possible. Name Michael Hilgar and Elite Information Solutions and say that his company is making direct sales solicitations in violation of Florida law in addition to violating Federal law (you can make that complain to the FCC). Unbelievably when I spoke with Monica she told me NO ONE had yet made a formal complaint against this company. I did. Now YOU need to do as well so we can put these people behind bars. Michael Hilgar IS a criminal and known con artist. Just look up his record. He has gone from one scam (roofing and stucco) to another. WE need to stop him.

It appears as these people have changed their name again.  They are no longer calling themselves "Elite Information Solutions".  They are now going by the name "The Credit Voice".  They changed their name from "Elite Information Solutions" to "The Credit Voice" the day after Indiana Attorney General filed suit against "Elite Information Solutions dba Safeline Alert".  According to the Florida Department of Agriculture (licensing body of telemarketers in Florida) "The Credit Voice" is licensed to telemarket medical alert equipment at 495 Semoran Blvd. Casselberry, Florida. It looks like "The Credit Voice" main headquarters is located in Clearwater, Florida.

Got a call from this number two times in a row within 5 seconds.  The 2nd time I figured it was an auto dialer since the calls were so close together. Yesterday a friend said that if you answer an auto dialer call with no one there, to start hitting the pound key repeatedly.  It confuses the auto dialer and takes your number out of the computer system.  He said this was put out by ATT on their website.  I'm sick of these calls like everyone else so that's what I did to see if it will work. Keeping my fingers crossed it works since the Do Not Call list does no good nor do complaints to the FCC.

Called at 10:36 AM MDT.  They made no voice response.

Complain to your State Attorney General's office. Indiana State Attorney General filed suit against this company in August, putting a restraining order on them to stop calling people in Indiana.  Indiana had over 600 complaints on this company.  Your state will listen if they get enough complaints, your complaint definity counts. This company stopped calling Indiana, but they are still calling the rest of the states and now starting to call Canada.  If every state puts a restraining order on them, they will have no one to call in the US.

The name of this company is Elite Information Solutions out of Casselberry, Florida, but the company is using a UPS store address in Orlando for their principal place of business.  Company owner is Michael Hilgar.  This company goes by several FAKE names.  Here are a few names that they are using:  Safeline Medical Alert, Senior Medical Benefits, Senior Medical Advisory, Senior Alert Line, and Senior Safeline.

Scam to sell security systems to seniors.

I use Time Warner digital phone service, they have a selective call blocker feature with up to 30 numbers, so I just blocked them. I have a business line from AT&T, I can only block 10 numbers and my list is now full. It's a maintenance headache, but using the blocking features is more effective than the DoNotCall list.

Received multiple calls from this number.  Answered one and got a recorded message about home security system for seniors.  Pressed 1 and waited on hold almost 10 minutes (!) for "Mark" to answer with a sales pitch.  Informed him that they were breaking the law because I am on the national and state DNC lists and that I was recording the call and reporting to state and federal authorities.  Then hung up.

I don't expect that matters to them and have no illusion that government will do anything to these people but I did tie up their phone line and employee as long as I could.  While I was waiting that phone line wasn't being used to pester anyone else and "Mark" wasted his time with me.  This raises their cost of doing business.  The government won't help us but if we all make it too expensive for them to robo-call they will stop.  Besides, it can be fun to annoy them.

Charities are exempt from the Do Not Call list law.

The DNC does not give out the list.  They sell it.  And its not cheap.  

For a scammer the DNC list law is just one more law to break.

DNC gives out a list of numbers to all telemarketers, obviously. How would the system work if they didn't do this? Sheesh!

Yes this shows that it is an Arlington Texas number but it shows up Cldeburne Texas on my caller ID. I am like you and so tired of these calls, but it seems like there is no stopping them

I never answer calls I do not recognize.  I block them and/or hook up the line to my fax machine.  Whether they are telemarkers, scammers, whoever, I have no curiosity to answer the call and/or talk to them.  Thank God for Caller ID.  Can one image if we did not have it? and we had to answer the phone not knowing who it is?  Utilize your caller ID.  If you do not recognize caller, DO NOT PICK UP.

This is a robo call who tried to scare senior citizens.  All I heard was something about senior citizens and an emergency..  I hung up and it continued to ring or they called again, I don't know.

Let me explain my idea of robo calls. Each area code has 9,999,999 numbers fyi (7 digits). The program starts calling every number that it can in succession.  So they don't need to buy or obtain lists from anyone.  I am going to copy and paste and post this info for each number that calls me for this web site.

Nothing is going to stop these scammers and lazy collection agency who call everyone with the same name instead of looking up the right one and all we can do is block them or use call forward selective..  DNC does not work when they are robo dialing all possible random numbers. The authorities can not or will not help either.

So, just block them, don't answer unknown calls, and continue using this great site for information to be in control of your own home and cell phone calls.  If it turns out that you did not answer a call from someone you know (number not on this site), just call them back.  No problem.  Its alot of work that I do (checking the number on this web site, blocking the caller, and making my own excel spreadsheet of numbers) but at least I FEEL like I have a little control of the situation. Maybe I'm delusional.

Where are all the bloodless conservatives to save us from telemarketers and crooks since, as they will tell you, they have all the answers to everything all the time. They are wandering around in a haze when they are not on all fours assuming the position for the robber barons such as these crooks who call.

Received a call this afternoon from 817-659-2247.  Did not answer because I did not recognize the party.  No message was left on my voice mail.  I returned a call to this same number 2 times--Both times I immediately Goy Mail Box Is Full".  The Police told me if they call again, do not answer.

Medical Alert System from Senior Medical Advisory. This is not a company we have done business with, nor requested contact from, so is definitely calling in violation of the National Do Not Call Registry. I opted out, but am also going to report to NDNCR.
