They are crazy! They try to say that they're from the government & you & your social security number are in danger if you don't call them back.

It's a collection agency.

Got a call from 817-393-0246.  Caller identified themselves as Lawerence Richard a private investigator for KLA (Kivilighan Law Assoc in Houston).  Stated that I had taken a loan from Cash Advance and they were suing me for fraud and non payment.  I stated I had no idea what the hell he was talking about, I had never done business with any such payday loan service under any name.  He gave me my home address and stated that perhaps someone was fraudulently using my name and info and that in any case they were suing me Monday and asked what I wanted to do about it.  I told him that this call sounded like a fraud and hung up on him.

Same problem here. These people are scammers. I have seen posts of them using the name Eric Matthews, which is the name of Benjamin Bratt's character in "Miss Congeniality" and Donnie Wahlberg's character in "Saw IV", also Patrick Gates, which is Jon Voight's character in the "National Treasure" movies. Very original, they are!

My Indian was "Ryan Smith", who claimed to be an attorney. He said his law firm was KLA in Houston, TX. This area code is Fort Worth. At least he got the state right....

You scum bags are calling all my family and we have called the police.  My office has reported you to the police station also.
If I owed any money I want it in writing and sent to my home address with a address of yours.  We have reported it to the Attorney General of Missouri and also the Federal Trade Commission.  My nephew is a Deputy Sheriff so he is checking up on your numbers that you have been calling us with - a different number each time.  Better Stop calling us.

I got this call today. I knew it was BS right from the get go... Just the fact that they have all this info on me is whats scary. Going to report this tomorrow and also change my bank account number.  Any suggestions on how I can protect my social sec number?

I recieved a phone call and message today from these people. He stated that I was going to be prosecuted for fraud for a payday loan that someone else had taken out and used my name. He said his name was Ryan Schmidt. He had a VERY heavy accent. Come to find out, thankfully it was fraud. But had me scared at first. The phone number he demanded that I call is 817-717-7310. Why can't they be stopped?

I am deployed and my wife got the same message on the 23 April 2010 and the number is 817-717-7310. This is fron a possible pay phone or from someones house. my email is lilman32001@yahoo.com and yes I'm down on filing a complaint.

I have received numerous calls from this company and like an idiot I even have sent them money.  They told me that they were collecting for a payday loan that I took out with Fast Cash International - I told them that I did not remember taking this out - they threatened me to take me to court - that I had commitment fraud and that they were going to contact my employer to make sure that the debt was paid.

They only wanted Western Union payments and each time the receiver name has been different.

The man's name that called me was Officer Danny Jones.  I have even spoken with a man by the name of Robin Jackson who is suppose to be Senior Attorney.

Don't let them threaten you to pay - I did and now I realize that I have been taken to the cleaners.

I was called to day by this same number and they said they worked for the US General's office as well and that my brother had defaulted on a loan and that he put me down as a co-signer. They said they have not gotten any payments from him and that if they do not hear back from him in a week that they are going to come after me for the money that he oews. I said that they can not ho,d me responsible for this because I never signed anything. He said that if they do not hear back from my brother that they can come after me to get there money. I asked for them to give me some information about what type of loans and they said they could not discuss any information on his account, but yet they can call me and threathen me about coming after me for something i had nothing to do with and they just kept saying that they have my signature and that's all they need. I told them that if they have my signature then it a forged one because I never signed anything for anyone for any momey. I was then transfered to an attorney by the name Eric Mattews, he was EXTREMELY rude with me and told me the same thing and said if they did not hear back from my brother then they would come after me for the money that he applied for. It  was for some kind of pay day loan or something like that. My brother is out of town unti Thursday so i can't speak to him about it untilt then? Who do i need to report this too?

I was getting calls, they already got me once for 750.00, I know i don't have anymore debt with the loans, now they are calling my sister and threatening her...even had the nerve to wish her a happy easter, the calls were soooo bad that I changed my number...I told them if they could give me a copy of the loan documents that I signed I would have no problem paying...but until then not to call...

they really don't speak english well it is hard to understand them at all....

I got a call from them today.  They threatened me about a payment that has already been paid in full last year.  Then they threaten my job and hung up the phone.  If anyone no who I need to file a complaint with, please let me know.  Thanks,

Left a voicemail on my personal cell phone - John Hudson US Legal Investigation. - with threats about a lawsuit regarding defaulting on a loan.  When I didn't immediately call back they called my work.  Again using the name John Hudson, telling me that I defaulted on a payday loan.  Took lots of notes, and was then transferred to a Senior Attorney by the name of Robin Jackson with the law office of Kivilighan in Houston Texas (called id showed call was from area code 702).  After this person said something that I knew to be false I called them on their fraud.  At that point I was called every name in the book and then basically phone raped.  I hung up the phone, he called right back.  There was laughter in the back ground and he continued with the verbal/sexual abuse.  Again I hung up.  He called back again, this time there was no noise in the background and he was apologizing and telling me he was a good christian boy all he wanted was to be my friend.  I said I will listen to you as long as I need to so that you don't call me again.  The the conversation got a little weird, he said I won't call you back as long as you do one thing for me.  My response - You can ask, but my answer is no.  I was then told "all I want is a kiss".  Told him never going to happen and hung up.  I have yet to get another phone call, but I have filed a report with the FBI, local Police Department, and the Attorney General.  

Anyone who reads this please do the same, no one should have to listen what I had to and don't be afraid to report it.

The same thing happened to me.  They called me actually stating that they were investigators for the US Attorney's Office and that a relative of mine had committed fraud, monitored by them, the investigators, via the internet.  Then they mentioned that their client was seeking repayment of the loan supposedly given to my relative.  This was a sure sign that they were lying through their teeth.  I asked how they could be working for the US Attorney's Office AND a private client, to which they gave a poorly constructed and transparently false answer.  They also mentioned fraud, but then said that this relative didn't repay a payday loan.  Those are not the same thing!  Not repaying a loan is obviously NOT fraud!  Basically, this person who spoke to me had no idea what they were talking about and were simply harassing me and my family.  I will be reporting this to the attorney general's office as well.  I was considering returning their call again just to point out how idiotic they are and that they're certainly not fooling me, but after reading about the heinous verbal abuse they gave to you, I realize that there's no satisfaction in calling them out on their lies.  They must be awful people to the core, and I hope that by directing the authorities' attention to their criminal behavior, I can at least bring some justice to the people they've harassed.

I ASK IF OWE ANY MONEY COULD PAY WITH A MC/VISA SD IT WOULD HAVE TO BE WESTERN UNION I SAID OK ALL SUDDEN WITH A FAKE NAME AND FAKE LAST 4 SS # ALL THE SUDDEN THIS PERSON FOUND "MY" FILE AND SAID I NEED TO WESTERN UNION 1850.00 ALL SUDDEN I TOLD HIM HES LAYING AND I WORK FOR A NEWS COMPANY AND THEY ARE BEING INVESTED HE HUNG UP ON ME. ALL IN THE MATTER OF SECONDS THIS SAME PERSON CALLED BACK SAID HE WAS A MARSHALL TOLD BS SAME ACCENT AND SAME BS NOW HES BLOWING UO THE CELL PHONE

Got 4 calls from this guy stating his name was Patrick Gates. Same stories as above. I am reporting them now! This is obviously a fraud

i received a voice mail from a guy claiming his name is officer Denny Jones of the US Bureau of investigations and saying that i was begin charged with fraud for a online payday loan in the amount of 400. When call was returned i explained that i never applied for a payday loan and they are fraud. The guy gets very hostle and uses abusive language and says i will loose my job. I just want this to stop because they some how got my parents number. If anyone know's who i can call pls let me know cause it has got my parents upset and i know its FRAUD!

They keep calling me and saying that I am being sued in a lawsuit against my name and social security number.  They call everyday.

Sounds like these people are getting the names from payday loans  My guy is using a  new number now.407-434-0345  Saying i owe money and my social number has claims against it  Big time scam

Really Henry?  Why is it that they want payment sent to Chicago via MoneyGram to a Dhruv Bhatt and not ACS?  By the way your writing skills are, you're probably Lawrence Richardes or one of the other names they give out.  Oh, and I reported them to FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and the calls stopped immediately.  

For everyone else, if someone threatens you to collect money or acts illegally as a US Agent, contact the FTC and file a complaint.  If someone is trying to collect, make sure they send you something in writing and that it's legitimate.

I just got a call from them, they didn't leave a message and when I tried to call the number back it says that it has been disconnected or no longer in service. Thanks for the heads up! These losers need to get a real job.

I also got a call from officer Patrick Gates that said a friend of mine (susan) was using my name and number to get loans on the internet. He also said we are being investigated now and could have criminal charges coming soon.   This is definitely some sort of scam - as I told them susan would not do that. They became very upset with me. They say they are calling from the united states legal investigation department. The number they use is 1-817-717-7310.

I recieved a phone call from Legal Alliance, stating that I had a payday loan outstanding in the amount of 542.13 from payday loan company called Cash Advance.  I don't have any paperwork on this loan, nor can Legal Alliance produce any paper work of this loan.  I have been called by someone by the name of Ryan Smith from this number 817-717-7310.  Today 6/11/10, Mr. Smith called me back to tell me that a payment was due today in the amount of 542.00.  Okay, one thing the company does not take payments from credit cards, or debit cards;, 2.  the payment has to be done by Western Union, to the so called attorney (Dhruv Bhatt, Code City = Chicago, Code State = IL, zip code = 60195);, 3. Have to do a Person to Person Transfer, so I guess the money would go directly to this person Dhruv Bhatt), 4. Ryan Smith gave me a new call back number today 806-589-0599.,

I don't believe this is legal, and no money will be sent

I also got a call from at soo call Patrick Gates, does these people have anything better to do,they are just waitng for you to give up and pay them something you dont even owe...  i am filling charges for harrassment at work..
