gamestop clling with a survey

got a call - then a text message with PLEASE CALL
no name

I just got one.  what's up with this number

I got one today I did not pick up cause I was at work but I did not recognize the area code. Better not be Telemarketers I already signed up on the no call list.. I did visit Gamestop recent;y and they did update my info.. I reserved Rainbow 6 vegas 2 ...SWEET

Got the call today.  I reserved MLB 08 from Gamestop.

i got a call from this number 8 days after a visit to an EB game store, were i picked up C&C III KW and reserved Starcraft II.

received call  and they had me press  1 if i was recently in the store then had me press one again if i would reccomend this store to a friend.....is this a scam ????? im not so sure but id like to know

"Hi!  This is Ashley from Gamestop!"  Its just a survey call if you reserved a game and they want to know how your experience was...not a scam, dont worry.

its from eb games/ gamestop.  they call if you recently reserved a copy of a game.

I tried to call it back, but it just kept ringing...

It's probably GameStop, I just bought a PS3 today.

Got 2 calls from this number, recently reserved the WoW expansion at an EBX in the local mall. Didn't actually answer the phone though, but this seems to fit with what others have seen.

Caller asked for head of household by name, immediately hung up when they replied. Tried to call back, phone rang for 11 minutes with no answer or voicemail. Caller ID said" out of area" but phone number was within my area code.

got the call no responce :_( but did reserve gears of war 2 at gamestop

Same here, I reserved Resident Evil 5 Limited Edition for the PS3 and I just got a call from them right now. Tried calling, nobody answered, so it's probably a fully automated machine

just got a call, decided to google the number, and i did just reserve resident evil 5 so i guess it was gamestop

just got the call, didn't answer it though. i had also just been to gamestop to pre-order kilzone2

gamestop called back. it's a recorded survey with just 2 questions:
are you the person who visited the store?
would you recommend the store to friends and family?

short and simple. not much of a hassle.

I just noticed 2 miss calls from this number, I just pre ordered the SF4 arcade stick...it was just a survey

yeah, i got the call, but didn't pick it up. i found this page with people all saying it was gamestop, then 10 min later the number called again, it was gamestop with a survey. so my tip is if you are getting called just pick it up and take the very short survey so they won't keep calling

Just got 2 calls which i did not answer because i did not know the #, but if i did i would have picked up. I also did pre-order a copy of KILLZONE 2, yezzer!! sure did can't wait until Feb. 27 when i invade the planet of the Helgast LOL!!!!!
