This number keeps calling and wont stop. Is there away to get them to STOP?

Noticed that had this call about an hour ago with NO message.

No message = No Answer

I have default ringer set to silence and those people on my lists have ring tones so only those people will be answered.

Thought it was strange that this offer wasn't like a computer, considering they usually are with these type of things. This American sounding woman wasn't very polite and I told her I already one a security system yet she told me that it doesn't work most likely, how would she know that?

Asked the company to stop calling several time and they still call

I got a call on my cell phone (No Call Listed) yesterday.  She started asking me personal questions.  I answered with personal question, like how did you get this number, are you aware it is a No Call Listed Business..etc.  She hung up on me.  I called her back and told her to never hang up the telephone when she calls someone asking personal questions and they want answers.  I also told her not to call back ever because I will report her if she does..  She apologized and we hung up.  It did not sound like a professional business.  

SCAM!!!  

Woman who called says numbers are 'randomly generated'-she had an Indian accent and sounded like she was working in a large call center. Told her I document calls and am on the no call list-she said she will take me off the list. I doubt that.

Security "company" trying to sell home security system. Told them I owned the house and already have a security system. They then said that the police won't respond to it because of all the false alarms but they will respond to their system.

This number has called me about 10 times in 2 days. I finally answered so I could tell them to take me off their list, and they're STILL calling!!!

Modern technology has given telescammers the tools to call you.
Since those telescammers are criminals, they ignore both the Do Not Call list and any request you might make.
Modern technology can also protect you, if YOU do a few simple things!
The first thing to do is buy a call blocker device, service or app.
Then, use it correctly.

If you cannot afford or use such a tool, then:
* Do not answer calls from unknown numbers ... let them go to voicemail or answering service
* Do NOT return calls from unknown numbers!  All that does is verify your phone number!  And, in some cases, those return calls may cost $20 or more to complete.
* If you have a "dumb" cell phone, assign the scammer's number to a group named "scammers" (or similar).  Then, assign a silent ringtone to that group.

Yesterday and today I received calls from 817-758-0365 and both times when I answered there was no response.  I believe this is a robo call with nobody to actually take a call.  I looked up the number on the internet and it belongs to smithmonitoring.com/Home-Security.  My phone is on the do not call list.

Same thing with me.  She said "I know you're not interested, but the main question is do you have a home security system"

I told her - yeah a big %$#@ doberman and a 12 gauge.

Accidentally answer and found it to be a SCAM about my number being randomly selected to win some prize.  Did not hear what because I told her to UCK herself and not call me again!! Blocked the number!!!! Pissed me off!

Said I had won $1200 towards a home security system and then asked me if I owned my home. Told him I already had a security system, my number was listed with the do-not-call registry and that I would file a complaint. Which I did.

Some sales scam crap. Don't waste your time

received a call today and yesterday (didn't answer yesterday). I could hear a click, click followed by someone with English as a second language answer. I honestly couldn't understand who she said she was with but I just said, this sounds like an unsolicited sales call. Do not call me ever again. Then hung up.
I'm even on a Do Not Solicit list. Darn it! it was my cell too.
The caller ID says it was coming from Cleburne, TX.

This is a bogus sales crap!!

Home Security Service. Tries to sell you $1200 system. Very Rude. Demands answers about my home ownership after repeated statements of "not interested"

Got a call today, said hello a couple of times then the call was disconnected.
