We receive no magazines. Never have. Yet these places are constantly calling us to "renew our free subscriptions" and for magazines that do not pertain to our business. We manufacture wood stain, we are not a trucking company.
This call, when I answered, no one was on the other end. Just dead air. Therefore I hung up and placed the number on my "just hang up" list.

No messages. Called me 10 times in past week. So I blocked them on the phone. If they want something they should have left a message. No way to know if you can block them from the call in...I never called it.

It is a company which calls up subscribers for free industry specific magazines and helps the subscriber keep the subscription going by askig for info needed for the subscription. Potential advertisers for the magazine want only people specific to that industry receiving the magazine.

This is a subscription renewal service for professional/technical magazines. Usually these mags are free and the advertisers pay for the mag. The Internet has driven paper mags out to the deep end of the pool and they are all about to go under for the third time.
They are harmless, but can be a PITA, due to their desperation.
