Got this call, looks like it would be good to get info.  Remember, if you are in Texas, you can sue in Small Claims court for $500 statutory damages for violations of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, since it allows private action.  It's unsolicited, pre-recorded, and no mention of Name of Company. There are web sites where you can look up how to do this.

So, I press 1, and I get a "This number if disconnected".  Hard to make sales if you phone doesn't work, doesn't it?

And I am on the Do Not call list for marketing calls.

I'm also on do not call lists and received a call from this number. Isn't there a law against this?

Don't let them give you any stress! I NEVER answer unknown numbers. I put the number in my contacts as SPAM. Then assign it a silent ringtone...or one that I LOVE to hear and when they call again, I get a little laugh, as they're the ones annoyed because I never answer. They eventually take your number off their list if you never answer.

I received a call on my cell phone from 817-803-4620 and I want no more calls from them. I am on the government do not call list.

Got a call from these low-lifes on my cell, which is on the do not call list. Called back and followed instructions to be removed from list, get disconnected twice. Called live person, she hung up on me.
Why are these scumbags allowed to operate? Texas AG, where are you?

I just received a call from this number.  I didn't answer because I was at a client's office.  Didn't recognize the number so I came here to check it out.  Now it's blocked.  I can only assume it's the same insurance telemarketing scam you've all experienced.

Just after I switched auto insurance and did my new ins. co. survey online? This is not the first time my number has been sold after doing a online survey. Never again.

SPAM Call - auto insurance. the pretence on the message i got was "according to the DMV, their records indicate..." then the insurance pitch.

VM left on my cell regarding reduced auto insurance rates.  3 attempts made to use automated option to be removed. Each time call disconnected.  Phoned back, "Jim" answered, inquiring if I would like my quote for reduced rates.  My response, "I would like for you to remove my number from all your lists."  "Jim" disconnected the call without responding.

Guys I love that people are mad enough to start talking about this, but lets all do something too.  If you are on the National Do Not Call registry, please file a complaint.

The only reason I answered was the caller ID said "Euless Texas" a town near my home.  

Got a recording about insurance and a press 1 for more info and 3 to be removed.  I pressed 3, but then decided to call back and read them the riot act!  I yelled at the top of my lungs to get the hell out of my phone.  Then I called back 20 more times and yelled at whomever answered.  On my 20th call, I got this message:  "This number is not in service.  Please check the number and try again.  Good-bye."  

Just to be sure that they really DID disconnect that line, I think I'll call them back later and again tomorrow and the day after that and twice the next day!

I received a call from this number (817-803-4620)  and did not answer.  The caller ID shows it originated from Euless, Texas.  No message left.  Based on other posts on this forum I filed a complaint with the "National Do Not Call" registry as I have been listed with them for many years.  These spammers need to be stopped ~ NOW!

817-803-4620  - automated message from auto insurance scammer - says push "1" in you're interested - push "1" and "John" answers and tries to sell insurance to you - he gets upset when he's told his mother is a prostitute working on the street corner.

I don't mean to be critical...but I think y'all aren't using your imaginations.  Last time I actually answered the phone and it was some silly insurance company, I had a GREAT time talking to the poor girl who was trying to sell me insurance.  I started by acting fishy about what I do for a living...and feigned a nervous breakdown after admitting that I "rob" banks for a living on and on about the hazards of the job and how I don't even HAVE insurance.  I even asked if it would cover me if I got shot by a security guard.  (My coworkers in our work lunch room were laughing so hard that I thought it was going to give the whole thing away!!!).  
Anyway, I can garantee they took me off the list and marked "nutcase" on my number...since I wasted a good 15-20 minutes of their time...and made the poor caller feel REALLY BAD when I started crying...
So next time you get one of these frauds terms...don't get angry...get even!
