I get a recording from this number, telling me this is the last chance I have to call back before they go to legal matters. Doesn't say who they are or what it's about. Just keeps repeating the recording.

It is for any one who had gotten a ticket off the albuquerque red light cameras from up to 8 years ago before they were deemed unlawful. The private company is attempting to collect a debt - I don't understand why we would owe a private company... if anything we owe the city, wether we knew we had one or not. I didn't enter into any contract with a private company, a private company has no authority over public roads, and the city of Albuquerque has no authority to demand citizens pay a private company with funds that should be benefitting the city.

This statement was made in April - "No, that's wrong,? said Albuquerque City Councilor Dan Lewis. ?They work for Redflex and they are not working on behalf of the City of Albuquerque and that should be made very clear."

I for one won't allow a private, crooked, non-american company to profit off of me. They say they will take people to court but they will also start with those with multiple tickets and may not bother with one-time offenders who would cost more to litigate than the win is worth. I also am placing my money on someone of importance getting a lawyer and getting the whole thing thrown out of court before they get to me. Thats my stance - you can do the same, or laugh at me if I do end up in court - lol but we all take risks right?

1-817-864-3343 calling for a Benjamin.  I have had multiple calls in the last 2 years for this person and they have all been from credit collection agencies.  They say if you are not Benjamin please hang up.  I hang up and they call back later, the next day and the next so on and so forth.  I have looked up many of the numbers that call and they all are related to another credit collection company.  I call and tell them to take my number off of their list.  That number doesn't call but a different number will start calling within days.

I think what these calls are for is for anyone who got red light tickets when they (City of Abq) had the red light cameras up. If you didn't pay the ticket they sent it to collections (BS).

I have been receiving these annoying messages for weeks now, some from the 817 area code and some from the 877 one. They say they are calling for Mary Langston on behalf of the city of Albuquerque. I am told to call them. When I called to complain though, they mumbled a lot and then hung up. I called again and told them I was filing a complaint with the AG...and will be doing that on Monday. Enough is enough...they call nearly every day, during the work day.

Me too! It's either from this number (817-864-3343) OR (877-444-3343)...actually, there are more complaints on this website regarding the 877#, but they're all the SAME! Starts off saying they are Credit Watch Services calling on behalf of the City of Albuquerque with an important message for "Michael Jackson".  First clue this was a scam is that my name does NOT even remotely resemble "Michael Jackson", and the only person I know with that name was the deceased prince of pop. LOL! This week, the msg changed...they are still calling claiming to be "on behalf of the city of Albuquerque", and still calling for "Michael Jackson", but now say it's regarding an unpaid citation, and threaten "this is your last chance before it will be escalated to legal action" (exactly what a previous poster said). SO annoying! I just reported it to the FCC from a link provided by another poster.

I've been receiving robo-calls from this number for about 3 months now for collection of debt from someone who is not me.  I've called them several times to ask them to take my number off of their call list but today they called again.  They claim to be a collection agency called "credit watch".

Yes, Credit Watch has called at least once a week looking to collect for someone that is not me.  I've told them multiple times.  The staff either hang up on me or just talk in circles until I get frustrated and hang up
