Received this number trying to sell duck cleaning

Got a call today - a kid's voice "Hey, it works!" and they hung up.

Reliant Air Duct has violated the No Call List with me before, so I will probably file suit against them in Small Claims Court.  That's the ONLY action these scumbag telemarketers fear!

When you call the number back, a recording says the number is incorrect- FREAKING SPAMMERS!

Caller was clearly looking for a reaction.  When I answered, a voice said "Now she's in trouble!  Now she's in trouble!"  I said nothing and they hung up.  A very unpleasant interruption to my evening!

Got this call at around 5 PM on 23 Aug from someone who called himself "Chip".  Before he launched into his pitch about air duct cleaning, you could clearly hear the call center noise in the background.

I stopped Chip in mid-sentence and asked him to Google "Do Not Call List" and informed him he was breaking the law.  Then I hung up before he could respond.

We have NO relationship with this company so his cold call was clearly in violation of the DNC.  And that would mean something if the DNC actually was enforced.

Maybe someone running for office - either party and at any level - would find more broad-based support if his/her platform was the enforcement of the DNC and the prosecution of firms that blatantly violate it.

But I wouldn't hold my breath.
