two calls one @ 6:22 PM on 8/2 & 12:47 PM on 8/1

recieved lots of calls, again today at 1230, caller rings 3-4 times, any time of day, hangs up when answered. doesnt leave voicemail. cant call back, get "att msg" caller id says state troopers, did an online look up, call comes from as Benjamin Huff with the address as 3948 Merida Ave,Fort Worth, TX 76110.  And listed it as a residential number. very annoying as they call during bad times. phoney and a coward person indeed!!

I received call from 817-920-0707 around 1:45 PM around Aug 14, 2007.  I screen all calls with answering machine in addition to regular caller monitor system and respond to no one who will not speak up and identify him/herself adequately beforehand (95% of all incoming calls are nuisance calls).  ID listed as "State Troopers" with 817-920-0707 as number.  Name itself sounded suspicious since Department of Public Safety is regular office.  No message on machine. A check of web indicates numerous addresses with Spanish names.  Definitely phony caller with malicious intent.

I received a call from 817-920-0707 at 7:48pm on Aug 7th 2007 and the caller id is state troopers. I called back and the message was "AT&T note. Enter your box number".

Received on 8/6/07 @ 1:46 CST.  The caller ID showed "State Troopers". I wasn't home at the time of the call. I was worried though that something might be wrong, but I did not call back.  I decided to look up the number online, and this forum is what I came up with.

They hung up after 3 rings and before my answering machine came on (I was screening). This was the first call. The time of the call was 4:56 p.m. on 8/5/07.

I keep getting a call from this number even though I have call block.  This is the third time in four days we have received.  When you answer the phone they hang up.  If this person is caught I will press charges against him/her or them.

This call said I had accepted collect phone calls and have not paid them. I don't accept collect calls.

HUNG UP WHEN I ANSWERED. LITTLE DID THEY KNOW I AM AN OFF DUTY HIGHWAY PATROL AND I ANSWERED IT THINKING IT MAY BE MY CAPTIAN. THE CLOSEST OFFICE TO FORT WORTH WE HAVE IS IN TROPHY CLUB. IN HURST WE JUST HAVE DRIVER LICENSE AND LICENSE AND WEIGHT.PHONIES!!!!!!

I've been getting numbers from HSBC told them last night to stop or I'd report them, maybe this is one of their numbers. They have more than one.

Same as above. I tried calling it back. Just get static.

the number and caller ID show up as State Troopers. we werent home at the time, and even if we were we would not have answered. the ID got me curious, so I Googled the number and it came up as Benjamin Huff with the address as 3948 Merida Ave,Fort Worth, TX 76110.  And listed it as a residential number. No idea who this is.
