We do get one prescription through Medco/Express Scripts. They do call to say that the drug is being shipped. If we do not answer, they leave a message. That part of Medco is legitimate.
However, Medco/Express Scripts does try and get you to get all your prescriptions through them. These annoying telephone calls are either Medco/Express Scripts telemarketers or scam artists looking for personal information. Do not give them any personal information. If they don't know who they are calling, too bad.

Just recieved a call from this number. Woman identified herself as a worker for medco, yet seemed very unprofessional. She was not even sure who my insurance carrier was. I hung up without giving any info, just seemed a bit sketchy to me.

They call me & when I answer no one is there & the call disconnects. I called them to ask why they keep doing that. They refuse to answer without my giving them personal information.  I asked if they have a legitimate reason for calling a number & hanging up when it's answered & they said yes. I told them I'll be turning them 8ver to the State Attorney General Department of Consumer Protection. Idiots! Express Scripts...formerly Medco,

These clowns are AWFUL! My health insurance contracts with them and I have to get my prescriptions through them. They will hound you constantly!

I finally stopped them when I asked them for my refund -- they had overcharged me and I caught them. So every time they called me I asked about the refund. They quit calling when I went to my company's Human Resources people and got them involved. No refund as yet, but they no longer harrass me

It doesn't help to report them if you use them for a service.  If your prescription plan is through Medic Health or their mail order Express Scripts they have every right to call you.  If you take a phone call and talk to them they usually leave you alone for a few months.  Hope this helps.

Just got a call from these guys too.  Caller ID said "Express Scripts.". I answere, I'm sorr to say.  Man introduced himself and asked for me by name.  Then he asked me my date of birth.  No way I was going give any of my personel info. to a stranger.  When I told the man this,  and asked why he was calling he said that due to confidential patient records, he could not tell me.  Bull-s**t!  Do not talk to these guys, they are prob. trying to make money by calling people who have stopped taking certain medicines to see if they want to have the perscriptions filled!

They called me, and I am not connected with Medco. I didn't answer but just looked it up and saw your answers here.

It is Medco/Express Scripts.  They are legit company that handles mail order prescriptions.   I just got a call from them on my cell,m called them back, they responded and told me why they called.

I see that you have the same problem in the USA that we have in the UK..  That is people coming onto a site like this and leaving positive posts to try and make a company look good.  If you read the opening statement on Whocallsme it says "If you receive a call from an unknown number etc etc..."  It doesn't say  put in a number you already know, ll days after the last post (so you haven't seen it in passing) and see what is being said about the company.  Then try and fool the public with a positive post.

we have been using medco for years and I would never go back to CVS or Walmart for my perscriptions. Also; I will let you know that if you switch from local to mail order they will give you your first 90 days for free.  Big savings.

A repeat caller.  Caller ID was "Texas."  Presumed telemarketer.

I got this call 2 times and ask my personal info, very tricky, I hanged up and never answer this call.

Medco used to be Express Scripts.  they're wanting to know why people have stopped using them

For what it is worth Medco is a legitimate company.  They are in bed with blue cross blue shield for sure because that is my insurance company and probably with a lot of other companies as well.  As for saving money, you do.  Not because Medco is cheaper than other pharmacies but because if you keep shopping at your local pharmacy your insurance company will pay less for your meds and you will pay more.  They strong arm you into doing business with Medco.  With this kind of a deal going I can't imagine why they would have to make cold calls.  I think the correct phone number for Medco is 1-877-732-3431.  If you try to call the number that called you it will probably be a telemarketer.

Called the number back and they couldn't find that they had called me and on top of that he told me some ridiculous stories about his work food days.  Seemed very confused and a waste of my time.

Medco called, I don't even deal with Medco for my insurance.  They just want personal information - just a scam to steal insurance information.

A lady from this company called me at my phone and said I had ordered medicine through the mail, which I did not.  She wanted to confirmed my birthday to make sure she knew who she was talking to.  I in return asked what birthday she had.  She was all bent out of shape that I wouldn't give her the information that she wanted.

Medco/Express Scripts - Man was rude and bluntly ask "why I did not want to save money" - when I told him I was not interested in mail order, he hung up on me !!    Calls my place of employment and then rudely hung up on me before I could finish my sentence.    Will be providing my pharmacy company "Medco/Express Scripts" feedback on rude CS Representative.

Have never dealt with Medco Pharmacy and have no idea why they are calling me, unless it is to solicit business.

I also got a call from that number and didn't answer. I firmly believe it was the devil.

Medco again!

We were getting calls from this bunch several months ago. I had thought they had finally given up as they hadn't called in some time. But here they are calling again.

We have never been a client of Medco so they have no reason to be calling us.

They are phishing for info. ignore them...

Got a call 05/24/2013 stating they were "Express Scripts" wanting to update info and were obviously phishing. I gave them completely wrong info. Hope they have fun with that.
