I have been receiving the same calls!! I had applied online for a payday loan (first mistake) and now this "Chris Wilcox" is calling me with threatening phone calls saying "issue is extremely time sensitive" and that I or my attorney needs to call and he wishes me good luck as situation unfolds on me! He has a very strong Indian accent like above comments! I don't know what steps I need to take to find these people. The call comes up from New York but I know it is coming from overseas.

Same thing he did to me!!! He said his name was Chris Wilcox and then hung up. When I tried calling back I got a busy signal.

I just called these guys; I told them that they're using the oldest scam script in the book and he asked "who the hell are you"? I told him to stop calling me (the guy's name was "Chris" something with a very heavy Indian accent. He hung up on me. I called back and told him I reported him; told me to f' off and hung up. SO I called him back AGAIN and he said F' U; AND I said: so you're professionals, huh? again, he dropped an f'bomb and hung up.
Trust me - this is fake. don't fall victim to it.

I got a call from 817-993-6320 claiming to be White and Lee Law Firm.  Stating that there is a Criminal case against my name and he needs my attorney info.  I asked him to send me in writing what the law suit is about and he got nasty and hung up.  I then did research and there is the Company White and Lee in California and I called and they know about this scam.  She told me that another person called today with the same information.  I then called the number back and at first they were helpful but when I called them out he started cursing and hung up.  THIS IS A SCAM...........

I just got the same call from a guy name Justin Murphy from a law firm White and Lee he was a jacka** he said i need to pay 800.00 for a unpaid Payday Loan that I never had. If I don't do it today the police will be arresting me and I will spend 21 days in jail and I will have to pay 8,000 in court. Who can I report this to.

I just called these jack***es back and said I reported them to the lawyer they reference I asked what country they are calling from because I know it's not in Texas and I'm sure someone is going to do a trace on this 817 number --I said why don't you get a job he said his job was to have me suck his you know what.  I said well if you are from Afghanistan as you stated I'm sure you are very smelly and you would have a difficult time having any American woman come near you.  I suggested that perhaps real men would have real jobs and asked how he got my contact info---he of course wouldn't tell me that but was focused on demeaning me as a woman.  I eventually hung up but it felt good to tell him how very stinky he was!  I sure hope the authorities find out who owns this number and really opens up a can of whoop a** on them.  This stuff is ridiculous.

I just got a call from them as well--saying i was going to be arrested in 30 minutes.  I said you know that is not true.  I called back and said I reported this to the Texas Bar Association as well as the Virginia Bar Association where I am located they hung up.  Scarey thing is they have info on me.

Same people called me  with the same allegations and as soon as I told them that I called the FBI and made a complaint and that they were listening to all my calls they hung up. If I try to call back its busy....

I received a call stating that I was going to be arrested if I didn;t call them back. After reading these posts, I now see that this is a scam and will follow up with local authorities, as they had all of my personal information.

This is nothing but a scam. HOWEVER, it is more than that. After some research, these people HAVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER. ALL 9 DIGITS. Contact the fraud department and local law enforcement agencies nearest you, call your bank and credit card companies, and CHECK EVERYTHING. DO NOT PASS IT OFF AS JUST A SCAM. I almost did...and it might have cost me BIG.

Mike Anderson supposedly left a voicemail stating i owe them a payday loan. When confronting him, he got all irate and pissed, calling me a bunch of names. Just give it right back to him. And after i was done i called back and could no longer get through. But i tried my home phone with this number and another man answers. Everytime i called i questioned why they leave me this threating message. They keep back peddling. Bunch of foreign f****. Just gie it back to them. The calls will stop

Got a call at work; receptionist took message from a 'Mike Anderson' who claimed to be an attorney.  He referred to the call as being extremely time sensitive. That I was at risk if I did not return the call.  I called back and the same voice of the so called 'Mike Anderson' answered the phone for White and Lee Law Firm.
i will follow up at my local State Bar Association.  

I RECEIVED SEVERAL CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER STARTING LAST FRIDAY AT FIRST IT WAS A COMPANY TELLING ME I WAS APPROVED FOR A LOAN, I SAID I WASN'T INTERESTED. TODAY AFTER LIKE 4 CALLS FROM THEM I ANSWER AND AM TOLD I AM THE PRIMARY SUSPECT IN A LAWSUIT AND THE SHERRIFF WILL ARREST ME TODAY. SCARY THE PERSON "MIKE TORRES" KNEW MY HOME ADDRESS AND PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT. SAME LAW FIRM AS MENTIONED IN SEVERAL OF THESE POSTS. "WHITE & LEE LAW FIRM". I HAVE BLOCKED THE NUMBER AND NOTIFIED AUTHORITES IN BOTH COUNTIES FOR HOME & WORK, HOW DO I MAKE THE CALLS STOP IF THEY PERSIST FROM ANOTHER #. I HAVE NO LOANS WITH "US CASH" WHO THEY CLAIM TO REPRESENT

A man named " Mike Tories" call my work to ask me to call him, he then proceeded to call and leave messages on my landline AND my cell phone number, I DID NOT GIVE HIM ANY OF THOSE NUMBERS!, I was told by law, anyone lawyer suing you has to sue you IN the state of the so called fraud! In fact, the bill in question was paid 5 years ago , when I called the original company that He claimed it was from. I did my OWN research into this scammer. I just hope others know how to research into that phone number. How do I stop this scammer from calling my work ,my cell phone AND my landline?

this is a scam.  My sister just called me and the person behind this called her work and said that she owed them money.  When my sister said she doesn't owe anyone any money, the guy  started to threaten her and said said the police will be there tomorrow morning to take you away to jail.

My sister knows the laws about collecting.  When she called the number back to see if she could get more info out of him, the guy said he was a pay lender and could get her a $500 loan for a service fee of $120.00

Don't let this guy scare anyone.  Its a scam!
