This telemarketer (female hispanic) called back and left a harassing foul mouthed threat on my phone when I said I don't want them calling me any more...she called back about five (5) minutes later and said "I know where you live and I'm going to get you, you f****** b*****! "

That's right. Try dialing it back and it starts beeping the instant you hit the "1".
So that's a $500 violation right there.

47 CFR §64.1604:

Prohibition on transmission of inaccurate or misleading caller identification information.
(a) No person or entity in the United States shall, with the intent to defraud, cause harm, or wrongfully obtain anything of value, knowingly cause, directly or indirectly, any caller identification service to transmit or display misleading or inaccurate caller identification information.

As far as I know, there are NO LEGITIMATE NUMBERS THAT HAVE A PREFIX THAT BEGINS WITH a "1"  - as in "175-xxxx"

I told the last moron that called with a "1" prefix that I knew he was using a fake number and to stop calling. I am doing this with any and all calls with a caller i.d. prefix beginning with a "1".

I asked this person to stop calling my number and he won't!  He called back three time after I asked him to stop

Called. No message left. Caller ID said Name Unavailabl (sic).

This number showed on the caller id but the name was not shown....   When call was answered there is no response on the other end....

Called me at work, asked me "Is this Mrs. Holms?". I said "no", and he just hang up.

The DNC is a database actually, the complaints are used by all the agency's. The DNC can't stop the calls from happening, but you can ..  Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Nothing but crackling static on the answering machine. . .DNC list does nothing, right?  We have to keep reporting them anyway.  Annoyed with these calls.

I get 2 calls a day for about a week  from this number one a month. They ALWAYS ask for "Mr burger". Tell them is the wrong number and they instantly hang up. Ive even tried going along with the "Mr Burger" just to see what they want. They ask for Mr burger, I say "yes this is he" and they still hang up.... LOL. I don't get why they are even calling if they just hang up every time. I can hear other people in the background while they are on the phone, its definitely not a recording. Just strange and starting to piss me off as this has been going on for about a year now.

Didn't answer; they left no message.  Really don't answer my phone anymore--nobody but scammers seem to call me!

They also called me and asked for a house hold member by name then hung up!

Another scam phone number from a telemarketer who want to steal you money and personal information. Since they are crooks they care nothing about DNC laws. The best thing to do is not to answer the phone. I agree with the previous entry the federal government should require that the phone companies to allow unlimited call blocking. However I do not see this being done. The scam telemarketers will continue to call and some person will fall into their telephone scam and lose a lot of money.

Obviously a telemarketer because a phone number can't begin with 1. Blocking these scammers has helped. Government should require all phone companies to allow unlimited call blocking. My service only allows 20 blocked calls, but my phone allows 250. There are devices online that block up to 1500. Might be worth the money.

Got a call about my computer. They claimed I had downloaded something. I asked who it was. They said Microsoft Support.  I was a Chief Technical Officer and now retired. I new better.  They wanted me to turn on my computer. At that point I told them I can fix my own computer and hung up

I take great satifaction in the knowledge that the Obamacare program I was forced into will be as efficient as the government run 'Do Not Call' list...

Answered because I was waiting for another call.  'Oscar" from A-1 remodeling was on the line.  He knew my last name and city.  Sales call-yes, robo call-no.

PS you can also add this call to your block numbers for a while then you can maybe get rid of it again later

Got this call from an anonymous number if you have Comcast xFINITY go to the blocking feature and click on anonymous blocking it will help alleviate these calls

Another ROBO call from a spoofed number. I let these calls that do not show a valid source name to ring without answering. I've been on the Do-Not-Call list since 2003, verified my number remains on that list annually.

They called and asked for my wife by name, when I asked who was calling they hung up.

Came up 'Name Not Found' on my Caller ID. No message was left. I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. I figure if it's that important, they'll leave a message so I can return the call. *shrugs*
