Male, young-sounding and well-spoken.  Identified as "Nicholas".  Probably legitimately from California.
Knew my last name.  Said to be some kind of construction company, "special deal" for homeowners.
(Case-and-rob?  Who knows?)  I gave him a nice runaround, but when I asked his last name he hung up.

This contractor is desperately looking for any work, showing total lack of respect for the system AND the public. Many seem to identify being on the DNCL, but the contractor fails to consult the list prior to making calls. Why do we really expect any government program to function effectively? It continually keeps proving otherwise.

I keep receiving missed calls from this number too. It's annoying. No voicemail. I texted the number to ask who it is, but the message was rejected -- Apparently it's a landline.

I have received several missed calls from this number on my cell phone. Finally, my husband decided to call back the number and a recording came on indicating the number is no longer in service or disconnected. Yet, we continue to get calls from it. Very frustrating. Apparently the "DO NOT CALL" federal program is NOT working and needs to be IMPROVED.

Some idiot who could not even pronounce my name asking about home remodel, told him NO! and hung up! another number added to my growing amount of blocked #'s!!  oh well for the DO NOT CALL LIST

I got a call from this number yesterday and they asked if Mr. or Mrs. (my last name) wa in.  I said no but asked if I could take a message.  He said he was Dave from some building company and that he would call back.  Thi bugged me because my nimber has always (32 years) been unlisted.  My phone allows me to block calls so I did.

we got a call a few minutes ago from "melissa" at this phone number she was evasive at first asking if I was Miss (and my last name).  I said yes, she said this is Melissa with  (I beleive she said) Home Specility we do home repairs, I said we have a very ill person here please take us off your call list .. there was no response from her .... appears she hung up on me .... rude rude rude.
