I, too, submitted my number for health insurance.  It's really scary who gets our number!! I just don't answer.

Got a fine wake-up call at 10am (still early for me) from a guy at this number with MetLife. I told him I certainly didn't request a quote, especially not in the last 24 hours. He actually seemed genuinely surprised, and asked if the last name, email and birthdate were right. I told him one of those was wrong, and that I STILL didn't apply. He warned me to expect a bunch of phone calls in the next day from people - but he would try to get all my info out to "keep the salesmen at bay." His words.

Still pissed, though.

It calls me at least once a day for months, occasionally other 818 area code numbers call too. Its very hazardous especially if your driving.

Shouldnt we get together and kill this thing?

Apparently reverse lookup says it belongs to teleport communications in north hollywood. Some one local should them a good whipping.

I keep getting calls from this number and it appears to be for some auto insurance quote which I did not request and do not want!  I have had no relationship with any business regarding auto quotes.  I get several calls a day on my cell phone and no one answers the number when I try to call and tell them not to call me!  This is absurd! I have filed several complaints with the Do Not Call list because I have no connection with this organization/number and am registered on the Do Not Call registry.  I also had to change my cell phone because of this problem which is a hassle to me.

I didn't fill out any insurance quote online, but this number keeps calling me...when I call back some machine answers.

Same situation for me.  I was requesting a Homeowners Insurance quote on-line and I received the call (Caller ID "Call Center-CA) shorthly thereafter.

I received call from this number while I was still online trying to get an insurance quote.  I, also will not purchase homeowners insurance from this company.  It was prompted by a legitimate looking email sent to me by a Farmers Insurance Co. in Fresno.

I haven't filled out anything online lately.  Immediately after receiving a call from this place that I did not answer since I didn't recognize the area code I received another call from an 800 number???

went onto insure.com and got a call 5 mins later.  wish i had not used my cell #. f 'em.

They called me at 7:41 on Friday and they'll call again from what I've seen by googlin the number.I called this other number but they wont answer, but I suggest we all call often to let them know that thier calling is upsetting all of us. I also filled out forms for a free insurance quote online and within 5 minutes i got a call from this number. Who are we really giving our numbers to?

Just got a new cell phone number about a month ago and received a call from this number. In addition, in an effort to find out who is calling I did Google search. According to the activity, this number has been around quite awhile.
Wonder why it can't be traced?

AAARGGHH! Keep getting calls from numerous marketers- including this number.  They even have a false name.  This is getting scary.  Re-enrolled in donotcall.gov  Any other suggestions?

its just an insurance company calling you from something you signed up for im sure, just answer and tell them no thanks...they will quit calling you.

I didn't fill out any insurance application...a recording to validate the number for an insurance application...this is bogus.
