got several calls a day for weeks. called back and they asked for an unknown person. they said they have an "account" with them and need to update contact info. they said they will remove my number within 24-48 hrs...we'll see!!! they are soooo annoying.

How is it that all of us are getting the same Allied Interstate harrassment and from the same number?  Does anyone have a recommendation of what to do?  They call my personal home phone all the time and I never answer to people whom I don't know.  Of course they don't leave a message!

These people keep calling my personal home phone as well.  NEVER leave any message on my answering machine and I am SICK of the calls.  I dont own anyone any money so I dont know why they are calling me.

Calling me at all hours and does not leave a VM.

Everyone is mad about it, and i am to SO WHAT THE DO WE DO ABOUT IT

I have reported this number to the Do Not Call Registry.  They say they will not address individual cases, but if they get enough complaints from a certain number, it will get a closer look.  So if you're on the Do Not Call Registry, be sure to go to their website and report it.

They (Allied Interstate) call 10 times a day at all hours. If anyone talks when I answer the phone they ask for people I've never heard of. I hope these jerks getthier butts sued off.

They keep calling me day after day after day asking for Carla.  I tell them there is no Carla and they ask who I am and I tell them it is none of there damn business.  I have no clue who Carla is.  They said they would only take my number off if I tell them who I am.  I finally told them that I will sue them for harrassment if they don't quit calling.

I get these about every other day on my work cell phone.  I've never picked up, but I think I might next time because I like meme's air horn solution.

I have received several calls for several days from 1-818-450-5620.  We called them back and asked who they were and who they were calling.  They gave a company name you could not understand.  The name they were calling did not live here and when asked how they knew her, they said they did not know her, never met her; she was just in their database.

I keep getting these calls and they don't leave messages. It's really annoying.

Young woman called  8:30 a.m. - re AT&T past due bill which is false.  My bill is paid by bank draft - told her I would call AT&T and find out about it.  AT&T said they don't use Alliance in the first place and second, since my account is active they would't use a collection agency.  She said I should not call them back

I have been receiving these calls for the past 4 weeks.  When you answer no one says anything.  Being a law enforcement officer, i finally got a chance to explain things to (whatserface) when I finally did get someone.  The call was for someone that had our number before as we had just gotten the number ourselves.  She insisted that they had the right household after I told her several times that she did not.  I finally told her that I was a federal agent and that I would be filing a complaint with the U.S. Attorney's office and the FTC.  After quoting some federal law to her, we hung up and I have not heard from them in the past week.

They have been calling my son's cell phone for over a week now. Today I called and told them they had the wrong number and to stop calling because it costs me every time they call. The woman who answered told me she would take my son off the list. Well, tonight we get two more calls. I told them that they were suposed to take me off their list. The person who answered then told me it would take 48 hours. I told him that I would be calling and harrasing them every time they call me.

Has already been told that the person they are calling for doesn't live here and never has. To remove my number from their list, but it doesn't happen. Also the people that call from that number are VERY rude.

They call about 4 times a day, they don't leave any messages!

In the past few days, I have received many calls from 818-450-5620 with no messages left........very annoying!!  NO debts to worry about!

This number has been calling be every morning around 8:30am est for three weeks.  When I answer, no one talks, and when I let it go to the answering machine, no message is left.  I have called the number back and it goes to an answering machine with a child's voice on it.  This is harrassment!!  How do I get it to stop??

They are driving me crazy and I have done everything to make them stop!

this is what site on net says about them so guess they are just trying to get lucky and have no basis for the callls.... pasted ==As it unfolds, Allied Interstate and other collection agencies buy old collection accounts for pennies and then it is hit and miss to collect money which may or most of the time is not due. Half the time they do not know who is on the phone and most of the time they have no clue if the debt is valid or not

Have received several calls from this number and others claiming "Allied Interstate."  Usually just dead line, this time I pressed "0" to see what happened.  A man asked for someone I didn't know, I told him he had the wrong number and he said "Sorry about that ma'am."  I was surprised he was that nice, since I've heard so many horror stories.  We'll see if they call again... I have a feeling that they will.

They will not stop calling, 5 am, 8 am, 11 am, 8 pm.. and it continues. They do not leave messages.  This is harassment.

I got a call from this number and she was looking for my friend who left the country for good for some business matters. When I asked her for detail she said she can't tell more than that.

Received call from this number at about 8 AM Eastern Time. No message was left.

Just got a call at my work from this number this morning, no answer

I am continually receiving calls from this number without messages.  My caller ID says "allied interste"   I think it may be Allied interstate, a collection company.
