Do you know how I can get my money back?
| sunshine 2011-06-07 05:58:13 Unknown |
I had the same problem. The person THAT called ME SAID that I had made some illegal deposits into my account for a payday loan. I need to payback the money that I borrow from payday LOAN. I'm thinking to myself. I never gave any false information or did anything illegal. I want To know which payday laon had reported me. The person said, I can't tell you. You must pay the amount you owe and write a written statement and send a copy of the photo id along with the statement. I caN'T BELIEVE IT! i PAID THEM BECAUSE i DIDN'T WANT TO GET IN TROUBLE. hOW CAN i GET MY MONEY BACK? ANY SUGGESTION?

Thank you I looked it up it is agains the federal trade act a loan can not force any arresting leagal action against you if they threaten any leagal action it is a law suit. Plus a pay day loan cant press charges due to the fact they new it was a bad check to begin with.

I just received a call from this number as well, they are asking me to fax something to a different number writing a statement that I am authorizing them to take my payment over the phone. This is all a part of scam again right? So that if I would go after getting the money back they would then have documentation to take it? This is sooooo frustrating.

I recieved 2 voicemails from this number stating they were from the Cybercrime Division and they had my personal address, my work address, my employers name and phone number and stated that they were contacting them to inform them of my legal proceedings. I know that this is a scam, but how did they get all of my info? I called the number back and they hung up immediately and has been busy since.

Left a message saying I would be arrested tomorrow morning because of some legal proceeding. Did not say what it was in reference to. I did not call back. I figured it was a scam; however, I am very concerned because they had my social security number. They also said my employer and "references" would have legal action taken against them if I did not return their call.

Agreed! I am very concerned as well. I just received a call saying something similar but another number...I am going to look into reporting this seriously this is ridiculous. Also, even if there is something unpaid they can't not provide you with documentaiton...I thought I was on a good streak not having received a call all week except for this morning. Anyone get a call from 513-393-9732?
| redone 2011-06-06 20:59:58 Unknown |
yes i had a call at work from 513-393-9732 saying they were an attorney's office regarding a payday loan and they were serving me a warrant for my arrest for non payment to a co i had never heard of. then they wanted 200 to stop the warrant and fix the problem for me. it was very scary. I work in a public place. has anyone hear of this? I can only think it's a scam but they had my personal information. What should I do?

I have been getting the same calls, telling me that someone would be at my work or home to arrest me in a few hours, that my employer would be notified, and that they were with a cyber crime division and I had committed a cyber crime. WHAT??? They have my employer's name and my cell phone and last 4 of my SSN. I'll tell them about contacting the FBI if they call back. But, I am concerned that they have all of my information.

Like all of you here, I've been getting a mixture of all the stuff that you guys have describe from this number. They keep using other numbers too. They also and claim they're looking for someone by another name use my info to describe them. I've told them off several times and I've reported to my local police. It's definitely a scam and should not be fell for.
