Caller ID is SCCCI which is a home exterior coating company (Texcote).  The call said that we had contacted them in the past about doing work and they were calling to find out if we ever had the work done.  We never contacted them before.  It's their way around the No Call system.  So I don't trust them and wouldn't have them do work for me.  I've seen complaints about SCCCI calling on the site but under a different phone number.

I received three calls within the last hour from 818-534-0609 , which caller ID shows as SCCCI, that I did not answer. This is especially annoying when I have repeatedly told them not to call my number again. I understand that the economy sucks right now and business is hard to come by but these fools don't seem to get it, "If you keep pestering me by phone, I doubt that I am going to use your business to have work done on my house." My wife has even received phone calls from similar sales offices to her cellphone repeatedly even after they've been told not to call her on that number.

I was registered on the DNC list but my friend told me I have to renew it every year to keep it active. I called them back anyways and the receptionist was very nice. Just ask to have your number removed and it will be off in less than 72 hours.
