Work from a John Smith saying he was from Cooper  law firm
And I owed 300.00 on a payday loan and the company was going
To sue me. Also he threaten to send the police if I didn't cooperate
With them. Yea right I know a scam when I hear one he wouldn't
Give me any info about his company when asked just hanged up the
Phone.

the number 818-579-7693 called and threaten to take my husband to jail if we did not pay 545.00. He went by David Cooper.My husband paid them using a prepaid visa card.How do i get are money back? Please help me get my money back.

I recently got a call from a guy named David Cooper, claiming to be an attorney out of California. He is prosecuting on behalf of my payday advance company and I am needing to pay immediately to avoid further court actions.  If I did not respond to him by the end of the week I will be placed under serious charges which would result in a possible arrest.  He said something about him being apart of  the Federal Act Board for fraud, check fraud, bank fraud etc.  For a bit, I believed this guy because they had the nerve to contact my job.  Well, I contacted my payday loan company who advised that this was a scam and that they would have not done that to me when I had two more payments left.  Wow!

these people call on and off from different numbers.  The latest contact number is8183969009, 8882021266, 8185797692.  There are many others, the same voices with different names. I am getting tired of all the call.  the bums should have to work for a living rather than harrass hard working people.  I wish there was a way to stop them.

They called me at work stating a had a law suit against me. I filed for bankruptcy. So I know that I shouldn't have a law suit against. I called my attorney and they tried calling him. They put them on hold. II really hope these people get caught. Then I called to get an address and put me on hold.

It happened to me only yesterday. Told me that payday loan was suing me for 400.00  if not I will explain to the judge in court in California, and Im here in CT. He gave american names like Brian Willimas but he had this Hindu Accent. He will call 15x and if you called back the machine is full. He will try to negotiate with you at least half so that the sue will not continue. How come they are not in jail yet?

Got the same message and like the guy above i too called my attorney and he ck it out for me and said it was a scam. i then called them and told them that i was calling the FBI and th calls stop.

Recieved 2 calls on my cell phone with a similar threatening messages. When I called back and told them that if they did not stop harrassing me that I would report it to the police. He then began to bang out my phone calling from a 919 number!

This number called me today & left a message on my voicemail saying not to ignore the phone call & if I did he wished me well at what would happen to me next.  His name was Brian Johnson.  I was curious so I called the number back & the first few times it said that the mail box was full.  I finally got through & he again told me that his name was Brian Johnson & he was with a law firm & That I was in default with one of my pay day loans & his company was pressing criminal charges against for check fraud, banking fraud & some other charge.  That on friday there were going to be investigators that would come to my job & serve me papers & or arrest me but if I came up with $642.24 today the case would not go to court.  I told him that I didn't understand because I was in compliance with my loans & I have proof.  He then tried to tell me that the company had sent me emails but I hadn't responded to any of them.  I told him that I hadn't received any emails from any company & I have proof of that too.  I then told him that I needed to talk to an attorney about this because something wasn't adding up.  He told me to go ahead & talk to my attorney & he looked forward to hearing from my attorney.  I called my attorney & he said it was a scam that only the district attorney can file criminal charges against someone.  I also called the places that I had the loans with & both of them said that it was a scam out of India & one of the companies asked if I got his name & number & I said yes & gave it to her.  She said that she was going to turn it into her supervisor who was going to then turn it into homeland security & the FBI.

He calls me from this number and another one routed through New York- every time I block him he just calls from another number.  Calls himself Robin Garcia or Robert Wright.  Told him I was reporting him to the FBI  lol.  I made the stupid mistake of applying for a Payday loan online- and that is what started it  Dont worry about it is just a scam- been getting them for a month now.

i receive a call which really intimidated me stating i have legal proceedings against me and implied it was criminal proceedings. since i am not a criminal I was shocked and worried.

This arabic or indi has called threatening me that I must call him or have my attorney call him or else.What the hell is this?

They are scam artists....ignore them.
