Theft alert. These guys are professional thieves.
Fourth time I get a text from them, always a different number. 818 is Southern Los Angeles, not toll free. I have never had an account with Chase, yet they say my account has been frozen and I need to enter ALL OF MY BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION, including PIN number on my credit card, as well as the 3-digit security number on the back of the card. I enter a bunch of made-up random information, and they accept it.

Got a bunch of text message supposedly from Chase saying that they've upgraded services, call and follow instructions. I have not signed up for any text message to be sent to my cell so I'm pretty sure this is a scam.

I don't bank with Chase, but took this information into a branch, got on phone with chase corp. and relayed the information to them & how I rec'd msgs. They have initiated a full scale investigation so hopefully, the person or persons sending this SMS will be locked up soon.
