I received a call from this number on my cell phone. When I pressed 9 to talk to a representative, I got a guy named Joe from card services. I told him i don't have any credit cards and he immediately hung up. What a jerk. Not even a sorry for the call, just hung up on me. What professionalism.

Got the same message. I am also on the do not call list. I hit 9 to speak to a rep and inquired on which bank he works for. Caller then disconnected. I assume it is a scam, perhaps related to the card number breach a few weeks ago. Nearly 100 million transactions were compromised by hackers. They may have a check/credit card number from a merchant bank and are phishing for additional information to help them complete a transaction. Keep an eye on your accounts or maybe even cancel them. I smell a rat.

Got two calls yesterday, did not answer. It is an unlisted number from Canoga Park, CA. Last time this happened, someone charged over $400 to my credit card which I got reversed. Please check your online statements every day for awhile. I would not cancel a card, you can dispute any charge.

I was called and got a recording that said I was eligable for a 6% interest rate on my card but today was the last day. They said I had to press nine to speak with a representative. This is when I hung up. It's obviously a scam. Don't ever divulge CC information to someone who calls you. If it sounds legit, say you'll call back with the number on your card. Also don't send personal information like a pin number to someone as a response to a text. Your "hunny" who may have asked for it could be someone who stole the phone.

I have never been able to catch the call as it is being received, but when I call the number back, it says "If you would like to be put on our do not call list please press 1"...I have gotten this call 6 times now and have tried to take my number off everytime. I just filed a complaint with the FCC, so maybe they'll stop now?!
