Received a call from 8204259064144, the caller had an Asian accent and asked for me by name. Once I responded he said something unintelligible and disconnected the call. My guess is there will be some service billed to my number based on taking the call and speaking with the caller.

820-425-9064 man called for an IT Manager's voice mail.  White Paper Technologies.

Placed him on hold.  This number has called before.   Also asking for an IT employee.
They never leave a message.  If you tell them there is no on by that name employed at your company; then they have a "third" degree of questions they are told we are not interested and do not call back.   Of course they really listen to that. How annoying these calls are.

Definitely phishing to cause others problems.  What a bunch of horrible people these are to earn money stealing personal information by pretending to be a legitimate company.

Received a phone call to my office and asked to be transferred to my voice mail. I told her it was me she hung up.

My experience with the ?white paper? phishing scam: Callers are located most likely in India or the Philippines. Most callers have poor diction and will feel ?off? when you speak with them. It starts with an offer of a white paper (typically with a neutral title like ?Keeping It Simple?) and followed by the information hunt: the callers ask if the email address they have on file is correct (in our case, the calls we get are for a former IT employee). The callers don?t actually have the current email address, but they want you to provide one to them. Next, they try to determine the employee?s correct title, etc. They will evade direct questions and will repeat themselves in a somewhat robotic manner in an attempt to keep the conversation going.

Ultimately, the fault lies with anyone who listens to anything after the words ?white paper.? You gain nothing by engaging these people with questions, and being on the Do Not Call list has limited effectiveness. Just hang up and move on.

Received call from 820 425 906 4144, man with indian accent, going by the name of George, asked to speak to my manager.  When I explained that he wasn't in the office and asked if I could help him since I was his assistant, he said he was with Visa.  I asked if it pertained a personal or business account.  He said personal, I told him that I couldn't help him, not that I ever had any intention of doing so in the first place, and he said that he would call back later.

what is Technology White Papers , these people are  annoying, they don't tell you the reason for the call kept saying White Paper over and over again.

I've been getting calls from this number non stop for months.  It's nothing short of harassment.  When I answer they ask if they can send me white papers on some random thing, I ask that they remove me from their calling list and they just hang up only to call back a couple of hours later.  I've asked to speak to a manager and they just call back.  If I don't answer they just keep calling leaving long messages just breathing into the phone.  There does not seem to be any recourse.  I'm at my wits end.  They are a company supposedly called Global White papers.

Wow, I do not get it; what are they looking for if they don't talk.  I got a call and didn't answer, they left a 15 second span of silence then hung up. The number dispalyed on my phone was 1-820-425-904-4144; too many number. Thought it might be international; who knows...

Got a call from this number asking for someone who has been deceased for years!Really.....???? check your records

One missed call (fortunately I was away from my desk) with no voicemail from this number yesterday (4/4/13)

Again, left 4 minute msg of nothing but some dumbass typing and drinking something and burping into my voicemail. Freaking morons.

Called twice with the number 820-425-906-4144   I refused to answer it for I'm sick of these lowlives.

Just got called twice by this number at my place of business. Since it was not a number I recognized, I did not answer either time. I reviewed what my raw call data reports indicated... This number had called another employee at my company as well. My SIP telephone system identified the call as coming from Maple Valley, WA. The system dropped the 820 and just read the last 10 digits. May help, may be wrong.

This female keeps calling, even though I have told her several times that she is not to call again.  Now I just put her into voicemail when she calls, but she NEVER leaves a message, like she doesn't know what voicemail is for.

She called 8 times, i have hung up on this company muiple times and today kept trying to call, demaned to speak to my manager, wouldn't leave me alone transfered them to another person in the department and just saying i need to report the last guy he is very rude hanging up on me,.... needless to say the person she asked for time and time again and last 2 years ii been here, has not worked here for 3 years and they don't get it.....

Received a call from 820-425-906-4144 around 2:45 this afternoon. The caller said that our IT Manager had told him that *I* was our IT Manager and proceeded to speak something that sounded like it might have been an attempt at English with a strong accent and a mouth full of marbles. (I should say that I am usually fairly good at understanding strongly accented speech, but this guy was completely unintelligible.) After several times of him delivering his spiel and my responding that I am just a secretary and that I had no idea what he was talking about, he gave up.

I have a nasty, suspicious mind, and I was intrigued by the 13-digit phone number with no name or company identifier, so I Googled the number on my Caller ID, and found this site. Clearly, this is some sort of phishing expedition. They'll get short shrift from me, and I am going to warn my IT manager as well.

Received a 3rd call today from 820.425.906.4144, this time when I answered they didn't even bother to speak, guess they recognized my voice, and hung up after about 10 seconds.

OMG!! She said that she would call back and she did so at 10:30am, well at least she waited 2 hours. (820.425.906.4144) This time upon my answering my manager's phone she did introduce herself as Joyce with Technology White Papers and once I told her my manager was unavailable she wanted to forward me some documentation regarding virtual benefits, blah blah blah.

I explained that we were not interested, and that I had told her this in the past and that she needs to remove us from their calling list.

She said "ok" then waited a few seconds and then hung up without another word.

Yet again - woman called my manager's office phone at 8:40am, spoke English very well, asked to speak to our CIO by name, or our IT Manager, or she also asked to speak to one of our Trainers by name.  I explained that they were not available, however, I was their assistant and asked if there was anything that I could do to help her.  She said no, she did not leave her name, company name or purpose of calling, but did say she would call back later.

Could not understand what the caller was even asking (I could tell that it was a telemarketer though).  Learning to enunciate might be helpful in his career! Yea, right!

Called at 12:49 left a VM over a min long of silence. Can her a busy call center in the back. Calld back at 12:54 left a VM over 5 min long - same as first call.

Received a call on my manager's office phone around 3:30pm this afternoon from 820-425-906-4144.  The woman wanted to speak to our IT Manager, although she would not give me her name or the name of her company.  

When I told her he was unavailable, she asked if we had more than one  IT Manager.  I explained that if she would provide me with a little more details as to why she was calling, I might be better able to transfer her to the appropriate party.

She said that she wanted to confirm some research documentation regarding our Windows 7 migration.  I told her that we didn't need this information.  She continued to explain how she really wanted to send this to us.  Needless to say she finally gave up and hung up when she realized that my persistence far outweighed hers and that I would not provide her with any information especially when she was unwilling to do the same.

3 calls from 802-425-906-4144 just like MJ but no message left.  I assumed it was a telemarketer, but they are being very persistent.  3 calls within an hour and a half.
