If you got a call from this number or frequently get these types of calls I would suggest asking yourself if there is anyone who has a grudge against you. I've been cyber stalked, hacked and harassed by a Georgia based con artist and serial cyber stalker named Mike Smeth for nearly 2 years now.

Prior to him defrauding me out of thousands of dollars I had never recieved a call like this. Since then I've received well over 100. I strongly believe he may have submitted my number to scammers or may be running the scams himself. It wouldn't surprise me - the fraudster is a former meth addict who appears on mugshotsonline and makes a living by defrauding people out of money and then terrorizing his victim's lives through a computer.

He additionally lives on my home network and launches attacks at anything with an electronic pulse (DoS, MITM, etc). He's also hacked, cyber stalked and harassed family members, friends and business partners. We unaffectionatly refer to him as the "Jeffrey Dahmer" of hackers. Getting away with crime isn't enough for him, he has a sick desire to terrorize his victim's lives.

I've also received non-stop harassing and malicious texts in addition to spoofed calls pretending to be law enforcement and voice mails featuring nothing but computer keystrokes. I decided enough was enough and decided to go through my phone records and leave this post under all the malicious calls I've received since Smeth began his cyber stalking campaign against my life on 4/22/11 (day he defrauded me then proceeded to attempt to blackmail me into signing documents that would absolve him of defrauding me out of well over $25,000).  

Just a thought. I felt my story was worth mentioning. You can never be to safe when it comes to technology in the year 2013. Criminals have ditched the real world for cyber space. Good luck and I hope your situation isn't as bad as mine :) If it is as bad don't be afraid to stand up for yourself, you have the right to be left alone.

P.S. - One of Smeth's fictional online personas may leave a comment after this comment to harass me into hiding but I've absolutely had it with this sociopathic cyber stalking con artist. I even had to stop using Facebook and Twitter as a result of being harassed by his army of fictional people. Also, he may ask to have this comment removed as a result of having malicious access to my browsing history. Whatever you do DO NOT take this comment down. Call came in on my cell phone yesterday. Very annoying to get calls on cell phone especially if you are driving or shopping or even just at home. I didn't answer as I suspected it was a scam and this site sure agrees.

Seem to have become a target for these calls lately.  am on do not call list, doesn't seem to help.  hit 1 to talk to someone to ask to have number removed.  they just hung up.

My numbers are on the no call list and come to find out that this doesn't mean anything. The law has no teeth.
This number keeps on calling me at home and on my cell, wasting my minutes.

I do not have caller ID on my Android cell phone but the calling number is displayed and I do have an app called Call Block. When a call comes in it accesses my contact list and if the calling number is not on the contact list it sends a busy signal back to the caller. The call gets transferred to my voice mail box and, if a real person is calling, they can leave a message and I MAY call them back. If the person leaving the message is someone I want to talk with, I will add their calling information to my contact list after I return the call. Believe me, I get more calls from Rachel or Jessica or Ann or Amy or... offering to lower my interest rate than I do from people I want to talk with who are not already on my contact list.

just got a call from this # and I didn't answer it.  It popped up as being from North Carolina.  I get many calls from all over, they always use different #'s.  Its the same people always, Cardmember Services.  I know this without ever answering them and because I always run the # through google to see what pops up and just about every time i see someone say it was Cardmember Services.  The last time they called last week, they used (321) 621-2545 out of Florida.  They have called from that # two other times this month.  Guess that # has been exhausted, because low and behold they have switched to another one.  I've received previous calls from Wisconsin and Washington state.  If you don't recognize the # if you have caller ID, just don't answer it.  If its that important, the person will leave a message.  If they don't leave a message, then whatever they wanted just isn't important.  The sad part is that there is a legitimate company called Cardmember Services and I'm sure they get lots of bad press because of these people making these phishing calls/scam utilizing their name.

I've been getting calls from "card Services" for the past two or three years and have opted out.  When that did not discourage them, I asked to speak with a supervisor.  The caller hung up on me.  Within 24 hours, I received yet another call from them.  When I told the caller that I am on the national do not call list, he informed me that he is on the "give a s_ _ t list" and that he doesn't give a s _ _ t.  I did a trace on the call and got the number he called from.  I reported the incident to the Ohio Attorney General's Office for Consumer Complaints who also suggested that I file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission due to his use of vulgarity.  I did this, but was advised by both the AG's office and the FTC that nothing can be done.  These people use "burn phones", or in some cases, stolen cell phones, and that they may not even be calling from within the borders of the USA.

I get a call from card services about once a week. Adifferent number every time. It's harrassment!  I just don't know how to stop it.  The announcment always says " this is my last opportunity".

They have called me over 50 times in the past few months. I have asked them to delete my number time and time again

i was under the impression that if you were on the national don't call list that were not allowed to call...

so i waste there time as well...... i answer the call and put the phone down.....

I received unwanted calls from this number. If I call it back, it is either busy or I get disconnected.

I got a call & party said they were from Card Services.  When I asked him which card he was calling about and he didn't know, I asked why then are you calling.  He replied FU and hung up.  I reported no. and conversation to BBB.  They contacted an outfit in Fla who sez they do not do marketing calls.  

I can only assume that this scam artist is looking for credit card numbers from gullible people.

i suspect these people are calling to fish for credit card numbers.  DO NOT GIVE TEM ANY INFORMATION.  I recommend an air horn to respond to them.

I just received a call from this number, Caller ID identified the call to be from Amerilife, but the recording said Card services and wanted to lower my interest rate.  This is a Phishing call, they just want your card numbers to steal your identity.

I agree - I opted out - now I get more calls from other and when I hit #1 to talk to a real pereson, the computer hangs up on me.

My husband managed to waste a lot of their time today, and then hung up on them! He thought it was very funny that the man at the other end of the line actually thought we had accounts with the Bank of Outer Mongolia and the Bank of Inner Mongolia and asked for their phone numbers. This is just the opposite of what our AG's office told us to do, but we do not have caller ID on all of our phones and sometimes answer.

The legitimate ones have all stopped calliing me, but there are still LOTS of SCAM artists who do not care. Because they are overseas and very slippery, they are difficult to prosecute.

Receive calls on my cell phone from this number. It needs to stop!!

When I connected through to tell them I wanted them to remove me from the call list, they just hung up on me.

This company claims to be Excel Management Solutions to lower your credit card debt. They are another telemarketer which do not follow the Do Not Call Registry.

I have put my phone numbers on all the do not call lists I can find.  I continue to get calls from somebody at "card services".  When I ask to have my number removed, they just hang up...then continue to call

I recieved a call from this number and waited for 40 seconds and nobody on the calling end spoke.  I have received numerous calls from this number with the same result.  I am on the do not call list and would like these calls to cease immediately as at this point it is harassment.

Just received a call from this number ON MY CELL 5 minutes ago.  Since I didn't recognize the area code, I didn't answer.  Do not call lists do not work.  Opting out only spreads your number around to more telemarketers.
