Who can we contact to get this to stop

Our operator received a harassing call from a described caller, male Asian Indian, identified himself as Robert John (I know two first names - imagine that) of Legal Investigations.  The harassing caller wanted to talk to a person that we do not have on staff at our company.  After further review and discussion the caller was transferred to our HR Deprtment for further verification to stop the calls.  The harassing caller continued to call, 27 times over a 30 min period complaining that he wanted to talk to a named subject.  I called the given number back and ask to speak to Robert and he advised that he was Roberts Supervisor.  I furtehr advised him that he was Robert and he should stop calling and harassing our business phones.  He began screeaming into the phone.  Here again, the individual is described as an Asian Indian male.  A local police report was written and the business operator was advised to hang up and dial *57 if another call was received.  The pohone number 828-378-0176 is listed to a call center out of Ashville North Carolina.  

This is the second harassing call incident that our operators have received from this call center from Ashivlle, North Carolina.

i called the attorney general police and the federal trade commission with no answers and impact business marketing 828-378-0176 mr.adrianne walker has still not stopped bothering me at my job and my home why are these people allowed to do this they are ruining my life cant anyone make them stop or help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This no. Calls 3x and blocking our phone lines at my job. I tried to call them and deal with them but the man that i talk to is verry rude and he doesnt know what hes talking about..and hang up on me. My employer file a report for this number.

The number 828-378-0176 has been calling my place of employment all week. (The person says he's Patrick Thomas) claiming I owe them money which I do not owe.  He has cussed out both of my bosses and tied up the phone lines at work for 15 minutes strainght this morning as he would call ask for me then hang up and call right back.  He is very rude and continues to call after a "manager" says he will no longer call back. "Patrick Thomas" also demands to know where I am and what I am doing.  I'm afraid he could cost me my job. He won't say who he works for and who the debt is supposedly with.  What do I do to make the calls stop?

The person is calling a public school repeatedly demanding to speak with someone who does not work. He calls the various staff who answers the phone names like Bi***, Liar, etc.

A person named "Frank" has called me many times insisting i owe them money. The number he calls from is 828-373-0176.
I do not  owe any money to these people nor do i know them in any manor.

I'm having the same issue as everybody here...calling every 5 minutes, calling old numbers, friends and family using profanity, threats, etc.  I've filed a complaint with the FTC and local police department.  I had their number blocked (contact your carrier, it's only a matter of minutes) from my phone.  It's been about 30 minutes now of peace and quiet (calls stopped after I contacted my local police department) but who knows how long that will last?  There has to be a way we can stop these types of scammers for good.  Curious to know how they got my information.

Thy keep calling every two minutes sick of it will be blocking this number thinking i am giving them my account numbers thy have lost there minds something needs to be done about this it is getting ridiculous.

Called numerous times yesterday and 62 times today. Finally talked to them and they said I took out a loan and hadn't paid and that they were going to take out warrants for three fraud charges. They ended up telling me that they were taking out warrants and I would be arrested soon and then hung up. They know my ss# and where I bank

Dexter Scott and his "Supervisor" Adrian Walker called my job over 200 times yesterday on my day off. When my supervisor tole Dexter Scott that I was not in he proceeded to cure at my Supervisor. Clling him a fing liar and making racial remarks. He tied up my job lines for hours telling me that if I didnt send him money he was going to do this 5 days a weeek from 9am-7pm. He called my job opn 3 way while I was yelling at him to tell me who he was and where he was located. I asked to speak to his manager, he put me on the phone with Adrian Walker whom also had a heavy indian accent and he was just as rude. Every time I asked who they really were ( not to sound racist but come on who are kidding? What indian you know has names such as those given) and where were they located so I could contact my attorney I Kept getting hung up on! They are scam artist! Just ignore them. They keep changing their numbers.

Looks like its time to change your provider and switch to VOIP.

This is a scam.  Our business was attacked by this guy for the last two days.  We do not have VoIP so we were not able to block his number.  If your business is attacked and has VoIP they should be able to block his number or an anonymous number.  If your business doesn't have VoIP then you can work through the phone company, but they may not be able to block the caller.  They couldn't help us and it was like trying to choke an elephant to get them to do anything at ll.  It's unlikely that your phone system will be able to block the caller, but you can consider that route and see if it will work for you.  The way we finally got him to stop was by transferring all the lines to one cell phone and letting all the calls go to voice mail.  We left a message on the phone that said we were under a cyber extortion attack and to leave a message if you needed something and we would call you back or if you had a referral to call your marketing rep.  Once we stopped answering the call he stopped within about 20 minutes.  Now when ever he calls back we just immediately transfer the lines to that phone and screen.  He called back after taking a 15 min break and we just started transferring and he stopped after about 10 minutes.  His game is to harass the employees, embarrass the person he's calling for if they still work there, and to disrupt your business.

This caller keeps harassing my work and my cell phone.  He has called at least 10 times within the last hour.  He keeps saying I owe money to something and it is urgent.  I can't even understand him.  My place of business does not have time to deal with him.  He said his name was John Bravo. As in Johnny Bravo? Please. Very persistent and rude.  Get rid of him!

We are getting even with them by calling them at all hours and jamming their phone lines.

You can call by blocking your caller ID.. *67, wait for stutter dial tone and then dial 828-378-0176. We have even programed it to our phone book and then redialed to death... Feels really good to get even!!!

This company has activated an auto-dialer on our work number and we can't block it as it always rings in a different number.  They say they are looking for one of our employees and will continue to call until he responds to them. This is criminal and should be stopped! What do we do?
