they call me every week saying i owe a doctor bill and wanting my debit card number so they can take out the payment of 209.00 dollors

This Tina chick just called and left a message telling me it was "URGENT" that I call back today!  LOL  I'm so glad I decided to research this phone #.  I think I have actually received mail from this Trinity, Hope place out of Hudson, NC. I never responded to it either. From reading the previous posts, it sounds like a company of scam artists that "phish" for information on people that have or have had a debt recently and try to take it upon themselves to "collect" on this debt. It's not hard to get a person's name and info and use it to their advantage. Thanks, previous posters, as I do not have caller ID. Tina left her name, phone # and a supposed reference # for me. I thought it sounded funny and I'm glad I googled it first!

I received a call from a woman who addressed herself as Tonya and said she was with Trinity, Hope and Associates. She called me from a different number 828-394-0252. She was extremely rude and unprofessional from the start and throughout the entire conversation. She refused to give me her full name, the physicians name from the ER I had seen or an account number. After repeatedly asking for the aboved mentioned and her address she finally gave me P.O. Box 607 Hudson, NC. She said I owed over $400.00 and needed to make an immediate payment of $75.00 or tomorrow she would file for a court proceeding. I filed a police report and also they have an F rating from BBB due to number of complaints and it also states they have an insufficient background information on this company. Google this company and you will see the different phone numbers they have and are using. Don't fall victim to this scam.

I got a call from this number today saying that I was going to be charged attorney fees and court cost for a bill I owe the hospital. She stated how insurance had payed their portion and now it was up to me. I stated how I had just talked to the insurance company last week and they hadn't payed because I needed to submit a reason for the visit and If there was another insurance, like liability, for the accident. I also told her that I was employeed by the hospital and as a courtesy our bills are never sent to collections. The bills are taken out of our pay. That's when she told me that this was the doctors portion which isn't part of the hospital bill. That the doctors are contracted out and payed separately! I asked what doctor and she told me how she wasn't given that information, this is when I became very suspicious! Because my daughter didn't see a doctor she saw the nurse practitioner in express care whom is employyed by the hospital!  Like I said I work at this hospital! When I told her that I didn't have my checking info on me she stated that I had only 45 minutes to get her that info or he was going to leave for Raleigh and turn it over to the courts. How she was callin me to warren me so that I wouldn't be taken by surprise when I received a supena. Then she stated that once he left for Raleigh I would owe everything plus court and attorney fees in 20 days in full. This to raised red flags! These people are looking for idiots and I'm not one! First it would take four hours from where they are located to get to Raleigh! No court is open til 8 pm!!! Lol

call and siad her name was mary and That I need a laywer for case number 121624 and that it was urgent to call her back. This is a scam and this number was reported to the F.B.I as a scan artists. They want you to pay a bill, when you dont owe one.

It's a COMPLETE scam!

We own a home that my parents had to co-sign on, and they called looking for my father.

When I told the woman (Kathy in this case) that I took the calls for him, she said to have him call them back.

I asked what her full name was, what this was regarding, and what firm she was with.

She replied with, "Firm?"

I said, "Yes, what Firm are you with? You mentioned this was a legal matter, so I assume that you are working with a legal firm, if not, what corporation are you with?"

She quickly and rudely responded, "Sir, under federal law I can't share any information with you, only with your father."

I responded, "I understand that you can give me no specifics, but you can give me the information needed to return the call such as your full name and the firm you represent."

She hung up.

i got a call from this number today while i was away from my phone. my brother answered the call, and they told him that they had left too many messages and they would be serving me papers at work tomorrow. i have never had any calls or messages from this number before. glad i looked it up though...apparently they are up to no good.

Callers name was lark and said bob you or your attorney must call before 7:00 pm on Wed evening. your case number is blah blah blah!!!!! this is a scam watch out!!!!!

A man called me and I can't remember his name.  He said he is with Trinity Hope and his words kind of stumbled together, I thought it was an organization wanting a donation until he said he was doing me a favor because my "case" was going to be sent to the court tomorrow unless I did a "check by phone" for a debt I owed.  I said "what debt?" and he said the Dr's portion of a hospital bill I owed from December 24, 2008 and he went on to explain it was a separate debt after I told him I had already worked out a payment agreement with the hospital.  Then I heard a lady calling him and he yelled back to her to hold on a minute and then he spoke in a lowered voice about the court thing again.  I told him I was unemployed and there is no way I could pay $593.00 in one payment and he then said tell you what, I can make a deal with you and if you pay half of it now by check by phone I will let it all go.  I told him no way would I give information to someone calling me and asking me to do that because I'm not stupid and he said well I can work out a payment plan of say $35 a month and I told him forget it...take me to court and I hung up.

Now I ask everyone, can a collection agency cut your debt in half like that?  I think it's a scam.

first woman that called me said for me to contact brenda, i spoke with heather (brenda was supposedly her assistant) who tried to get me to do a check over the phone and she would hold it until the end of the month-post dating a check is illegal and anyone who was a real "lawyer" would not have you do this.  after saying i dont do checks over the phone and her threatening me saying i was going to go to jail over a supposed $220 bill (you cant go to small claims unless its $2000 or more) a tabitha called me the next day and yelled at me when i said the same thing.  i was told to contact the magistrate office(by the sheriffs office).  this place is a few miles from stonewall st in lenoir, look the number up and one site will show you where the dumbarses are calling you from on map quest.  they say theyre a "christian based organization" but a real one would never treat you like they have or harass you.
