To Trinity Hope Associates:  If you don't want to appear like a bunch of scammers on this board, may I recommend you learn to check your spelling, punctuation, and word usage?  Your communications on here make you look like eighth graders, or functionally illiterate, or a boiler room in India.  If you truly are a debt collection agency, you certainly aren't helping your cause by making your postings on here look like they were written in crayon.  I went to public school in your area - just ten miles away from Lenoir, NC, where you're supposedly based out of - and I know perfectly well they do competently teach English in those schools.  May I recommend going to a used bookstore and picking up - and actually reading - a copy of Strunk and White's ELEMENTS OF STYLE?

not trying to scam you out of money at all.  When you go to the er, a doctor sees you and like myself you may not like his service that he gives you but we still have a bill owed to him, and it is your responsibilty to pay the bill after any insurance has paid. If you were the doctor yourself, i am sure you would want your money that is owed to you as well.  I know I would not work for a week and then be told that I would get paid in a year!!  THINK ABOUT IT PEOPLE!!

I received no letters from anyone but you, and at my job to boot. I do believe that debt collectors are not legally allowed to call you at work which is EXACTLY what you did.

The BBB has issued an F rating for this business due to non compliance in resolving complaints against them. There are 10 unresolved issues 9 of which are collection practice complaints..   Again if they can't produce verification of the debt stated then the debt is probably fraudulent. DON'T TALK TO THEM

They're calling my house REALLY EARLY in the morning hours and not leaving my family alone even though we have given legitimate reasons as to why we cannot speak with them or pay them. Trinity, stop calling my home.

So what she is saying , the billing company sends out 4 statements and her insurance company sends out a EOB, AND we send out a notice. So you are saying three seperate companies got it wrong, come on now.....

We always ask if there address has changed and if they say no, so how can 3 seperate companies be wrong and there has been no mail return...

Is your company really threatening people with the DA? FYI, you can sue a debtor in CIVIL COURT only if the debt has been viladated and is proven to be an acutal debt. Don't forget, bottom feeder employee, no debtor owes a debt to your crappy collection company, you are not the original owner of the debt and no one has signed a contract with you. Companies like your try to scare the uneducated debtor into paying while most debts are past the SOL and not even allowed to be pursued in a civil court. Run away shill, we can smell your crap.

We have yet to here from an Attorney, but if we did we would handle it in a professional way. If there was a mistake we would refund the money. Some debtors will call after the money has been processed and its to late...All she would of had to do is call the front office and speak to Tabatha Mullis and I would of reserched it and resolved the matter ASAP

We do not pull debtors out of a hat, if you call in and it is not you we immedialy close and return account to Client, but that is a very rare thing. We do not have the time to call invalid accounts, so I will say just call in and go over your information with us it takes 2 minutes and if the information does not match, we close and return account.

Ok, why would we call a debtor and not give him our address ? That is all I have to say on the subject

The reason no one answered the phone is we close our office at 8:30, if they really wanted to resolve this and really wanted to take care of they could of called back the next business day

This is untrue, the #number that was listed above is not even our collection line.

As for a recording, the only that anyone would get that is if we are closed or have a high call time...

Got a called around 8:15pm, asked to pay a collection for a hospital's bill three priod to the this called that had been paid off and never receiped a collection bill.  The women said the court date already been set up in three weeks from this called and have to pay the debt right a way.  I asked her for the hospital, case#, date of service and why not a collection letter ever been receive.  She said "give me my address" and asked me is this the right address?  I told her yes and asked here "I would not beleive someone on a phone to give them my cridit card # and check#"  she gave me a discount of $60.00 right a way if I pay her with my cridit card right now.  I asked here a couple questions about the truth of a collection and she simply hang up on me.   I believe this is a scam and someone have to do something about this.  I am going to report this called with the Calling ID 828 394-4403 and Trinity Hope to the police tomorrow.

Hi we scheduled a pmt to come out and then realized other bills were more important at the time so I called and spoke with. Tonya. She stated that she would pull the orig amount. Then she didn't want anything less then what was first said.  Main matter is the money was taken out of my account and we are now taking this to an attorney.

This company is not a scam. They are a legitimate debt collection agency. That being said they are rude, deceitful, and threatening, as are all debt collection agencies. They count on you to feel guilty about not paying a bill, and they prey on that guilt and fear of legal action. Perhaps nothing that they did to me was illegal, but it sure wasn't right.
If this company contacts you, take the debt seriously, but do not let them bully you! You DO NOT deserve to be treated like this. Take a deep breath and think it through before you act. DO NOT let fear rule your decisions.
As for anyone reading this post that works for Trinity Hope Associates: You say that you are a Christian company, I'm not sure what that means, but I think you need to ask yourself if you're being an effective witness for Christ in your business practices.
