I received several calls from this number.

they are people who have already been in trouble with the fbi.  if you go up to the magistrates and get sworn in, you can file a complaint of harassment against them.  ive already went and done so, so if you go up there and do it, thatll just help when they get in troubel for theyre bu***hit!  theyre not real, dont give them any of your information!  its all a lie.  that bu***hit about "we're trinity hope associates, we're a christian based law corp" is bu***hit!  and just gives real christians an even worse reputation.  just ignore them and file a complaint and theyll get in trouble.

hey.. had the same voice mail.. on the same day that you did (12/11/2009)  same Ms Hicks.. i tried to call back, because I thought it was a bit fishy, too...  She said she would be "in the office" until 8:30 that night. I tried to call several times WAY before 8:30, and got no answer, OR answering machine..  they have not called back, so I don't intend to try to call them anymore, either... look the number up.. it's somewhere in Lenoir..

I heard a voice mail today, from a miss hicks telling me that i or my attorney who represents me must contact her as soon as possible the number was 828-394-4633. when i called the number there was no law office or any type of organization with an answering service. which the common lawyer has an answering service or at least a machine stating their names and place of business. she gave a reference number. the fact that she left me no first name was unusual enough. any lawer would have gave a first and last name. i looked up the number and couldnt find anything for an attorney in lenoir by the last name of hicks. can anyone tell me if they have actually gotten a real person??

yeah, thats what shes talking about, but if you know anything about your legal system, you cant be sued and/or served and taken to court over medical bills.  if you ask for them to send you something in the mail, they try and say they have or theyll tell you they dont have to send you anything.  just ignore them and report them to the magistrate.  they just want your money because theyre too pathedic to go out and get real jobs for money like everyone else.

they are fake!  they have been harassing me for over a year!  the original telephone number they called me from was from the crack part of lenior!  i looked it up and the people have already been in trouble with the fbi.  i called up to the police station & they said to contact the magistrate office and they said since theyve already previously been in trouble, that i could come be sworn in and file a complaint of harassment against them.  if they call back again, i intend on doing so, so feel free to do the same.  im sure if they have more then one person doing this against them, theyll eventually see this is all more trouble then its worth and quit their schemes.

She also said that if I didn't pay it now I would be served. I'm assuming that means with papers going to court or something of the such.

I recieved a call from this agency today and they wouldn't tell me what they represented at all. I finally told them my name and they the case number but still this Ms. Hicks continued to ask for more and more information to verify my identity.

She asked me for my entire ssn which I didn't give her over the phone.

Told me it is a debt of 146.84 from an emergency room visit back in the end of 2008.

I asked her to send me paperwork via regular mail and she said that something was sent in april of this year and she didn't have to verify that I recieved it just that she sent it. When I asked to have it sent again she stated that she wouldn't be doing that. I had to contact the client I owed the money too.

Does this sound legit to anyone?

The company is a bill collection agency.  They are not an attorney's office.  It is illegal for them to say so.  I worked as a bill collector in NC.  All calls are recorded.  Just tell them to correspond through mail.  They must inform you it is an attempt to collect a debt or you can sue them!!
