Get the same call from these telemarketers (I am being kind) frequently. donotcall.gov is almost as big a joke as the idiots running the country at present. Neither work for the little guy. Oh well.

called caller id was unknown name.
so scammers fishing for numbers as legal businesses will at least try to reflect their names.
Might have been a spoofed number who knows.

Got a call, too, but no message. My wife finally answered, but no response. I hate this kind of thing. We'll see if we get it again and if we do, we'll try using the don't call me hotline. Told my wife not to answer, if, next time.

Just got another call from 830-422-3812. I answered this time. A recorded male voice said they are the "Senior Medical Alert" and that the government has encouraged all senior citizens to purchase their medical alert system because "so many die each day due to increased response times by EMS." I listened to the entire speech. At the end, the voice repeated 3 times "Press 1 to talk to a live representative." Finally, the voice said to press 5 to be removed from the calling list. I pressed 5 and they hung up. I then made a second complaint to the do-not-call hotline at 1-800-382-1222.

This is just one of the many numbers used by a company or scammer trying to get "seniors" to buy their alert buttons.
I will never use their product because they harass us at least 2 times a day.
I am on the USELESS do not call list
