It's a debt collector

called 4 times today(Sunday)... how do I stop this number from calling my home number, without having to change my number and the cost for a number change? it is so irritating!

3 calls in 24 hrs from this number looking for a relative that hasn't lived at this tel.# number for over 5 years.  They said they were attempting to collect a debt.  By the 3rd call... I explained again I do not speak to this person/relative and volunteered no more, other than if they call again, it would be harrassment.  I too am very ill and it is an effort to answer the phone.  The women said she would put me on the "don't call" list.  Should they have the guts to call again, I will kindly provide them with the tel# for the party they are searching for..but guess whose # number they will be given (just shy of 911)?

I keep getting calls from this # for a distant relative I haven't seen in years,I finally got to a person and asked to not be called again.I plan to report this as harrassment if they call again.

I can't get this company  from calling my home, have told them on several occasions that I do not speak with the person they are looking for. I am very tired of this, what is my next option.

This number has called 3 times in the past 2 days. I've looked it up on the internet,and supposely they're a collection agency,BUT scammers. I don't know why they're calling my house all of a sudden,and I don't know the person they're looking for. It's not a family member,distant relative like some of the comments have said.. I actually don't know this person who supposely owes.. I've had my number for 3 years,and like I've already said, I don't know why they're calling... I've already filed a complaint,and hope it works. If not, a trip to my local police department should do the trick. I know some people don't admit their name when a collection agency calls,BUT I'm not a man.....If they call again, I'm prepared to let them know I'm not a guy,and they have the wrong number. I don't give out personal info over the phone to people I don't know,but they'll know I'm the guy,when they hear my voice...LOL.
