I revived a txt message from this number asking for personal info. No was given but I am still concerned BC my Id turned up missing

By 'manipulate mother nature', I mean clone sheep and all the medical advancements that blow the mind.

I figured it was a scam, too, but I've also entered several contests so I was thinking "Maybe?". I haven't called it, though. I think whoever this is isn't in the US since it looks like most of the messages are received so late in the evening. Which is actually kinda fortunate for me since that was one of the first red flags for me. Sad, though, there are still so many people out there who get caught by these things. You'd think that there would be tougher regulations and monitoring of the Internet and such. We're able to manipulate mother nature, but we can't 'fix' this?

I got the samething about 7pm yesterday, also, someone fraud my Verizon acct last week.

got a text from this number and said it was Wells Fargo and to call:

The Baytown police dept. is reporting this number to the FBI identity theft dept.

A google search said the call originated from a landline in Baytown, Texas. The Baytown Police department email is: police@baytown.org.

The Google search of that number said it was a landline from Baytown, Texas. There police there are the ones to notify!

Just got a text from this site telling me to call this number.   I am not a Target credit card purchaser so I don't think this is a Target scammer.  I do think that this is a scam.  Thanks for all of the input.

Got a text from dis # same as everyone esle...if these ppl can run a scam...why not get a serious job...work for what u want...

My husband just got a call asking to verify his identity with his social about his prepaid card...Scammer...who do you report them to, so people don't get hurt??? 832 984 9427  at 11:01 pm

Got the exact same text just now. Anyone think it has something to do with the Target breach? I was one of the victims- luckily my bank caught it before some douche could use my card #

My wife, daughter and I received this message a few minutes ago, all at the same time. Figured it was a scam, but googled the number anyway.

Just got this same message at 11pm

Same as everyone else, got a text message an hour ago, called the number a robot told me my prepaid card was cancelled and asked for my SSN. Clearly some kind of scam.

Never answer a number not recognized is my philosophy.....another "unknown idiot.'.besides it is 1030 pm...

It's a scam! They call saying some credit card has been cancelled. Then, they ask for your social security number to verify identity. Don't fall for this garbage

I called from company phone. They ask for your SSN and card number.. Stay away

Received to texts today.

I got a text from this #  [Contact Achieve Department]  I texted back "Achieve what?" and got no answer.  Now my husband just got the same text.  ERRR!
