Will not answer...left no message......auto dialed call

thanks for taking the time and effort to follow through as far as you did.  obviously a scam.  by looking at the dates of the comments it is a recent push to scam people.

Dang!  I just bought a new set of Panasonic phones in the KX catagory... but not the one you got.  Mine doesn't have a block feature on it.  Sure wish it did.  I just click 'answer', then 'off'.  I have no idea what they're selling and don't care.  I get enough calls from those jerks at World Wide Vacations as it is.  I've reported them to the FCC more than once now.

ps. the recording did say press 2 to be removed from the list.  when i did it said "please hold for the next..."  ha!  why do i have to talk to someone to remove my #???

i heard the msg as it started playing.  something about medicare benefits.

Hung up when I said take me off your list.

The message is for Medicare recipients with diabetes. I didn't listen to the rest. There are always 2 calls in a row to my number.

They have been calling for the last couple of days

We also are getting these calls ....My grandmother, who lived with us until her death last year at the age of 99, was mildly diabetic the last 4 years of her life.   IF  this is related to scammers targeting the elderly who are diabetic, my question becomes HOW are they getting contact information?  WHO IS SELLING THESE CONTACT LISTS ?? Government, or it's employees or 3rd party  billing and processing companies for the Gov. or actual medical suppliers/providers .......it has to be coming from "within" the system ..... I suppose if the individual is deceased they think it OK to sell confidential information .....  These people and whomever is selling the info need to be BUSTED !!

Call was yesterday. Caller ID says UNKNOWN NAME. No message left. When I dialed the # it said the # isn't in service!

Just received a call from this number, they did not leave a message.  I don't answer call that are unknown callers.  Why can't something be down about these calls!!!!

This number cannot be called back to demand to be placed on the do not call list - I don't know who they are or what they want but if I figure out a way to reach them I will let you know.

Keeps calling my house 3site rings and hangs up kind of annoying something has to be done with these numbers they are only ones who get past the do not call issue

This number called without identification, rang three times and hung up. I don't answer unknown callers. The number is probably a fake. It doesn't come up as a valid area code. It must be a scam.

I actually spoke to a woman of foreign origin who said she could submit a form to get a piece of medical equipment with no charge to me. She also said she could get social security to cover cost and wanted my insurance coverage info and if I had an HMO. It became clear that this is a scam of some kind probably in a foreign country and she was fishing for personal info. I will report this to Social Security and encourage any one  who is retired or with elderly parents on social security to look at their caller ID for this number and report it.

This is one senior they won't con!!  I just blocked their number with my Panasonic KX-TG9331T Phone.  The best thing my kids ever gave me.  I receive at least ten telemarketer calls each and every day, this one included.  Now that I have the phone and use this website, they only get one chance to bug me.

I got a call from from this number yesterday, May 8, 2013 at 9:55 A.M. I live in NY. The caller did NOT leave any message on my answering machine. Caller ID only shows "Unavailable". Why am I not surprised that this caller could be using robotic callers, routinely does not leave a message, (per Dana) has a recording that says it is "for medicare users", (per Jim) "was an automated sales call for diabetic supplies" ... "press 1 for more information"... It is likely that the person behind these calls is a scammer, posing as a telemarketer and is trolling for seniors who might be taken in by whatever claims they are making.

BEWARE! These folks called about 12:30 in the afternoon. I always let Unknown Name go to voice mail. I checked my voice mail; and I heard peppy music for pretty close to a minute; then I heard a woman's voice saying: " Hello: Hello! " These folks are, obviously, some kind of scam sales low lifes. I see from other posts that these folks are trying to get anyone to buy diabetic supplies. These low life folks try to find people who are elderly and easily manipulated. Don't have any dealings with these, most probably, money grubbing, barely legal scam tricksters who have managed to, just barely, stay out of jail. BEWARE!

Calls me several times a week. Called at 3am (pacific time) and all I got was a Fax machine sound. (I would not have answered but who looks at caller ID at 3am? I just assume it's a family emergency.) If I do pick up the caller (machine, not a person) states the call is about Medicare diabetic supplies. If I try to call back I get a message stating the number is not in service.  I work form home and this is VERY ANNOYING.

"840" is a non-existent area code, so the CallerID is spoofed - these people are crooks or scam artists of some type.

WHY can't someone do something about these calls??  It's the same thing every single day, we get these calls at all hours.  They never leave a message, and if you do answer, there is no one there!  We normally never answer any calls...but some time you just want it to stop!  We have health issues, as well as family members having health issues, so turning off the ringer, or unplugging the phone, is NOT an option.  We are so SICK of it!  We too, are on the "do Not Call" list...it's useless!  It's a %&#@ joke!!!

I'm in So. CA also and it called me at 8:45a this morning. Hung up when we answered.

Called me 5 min ago and then again within 2 min.  does not ring long enough for answering machine to pick up. I never answer any of these numbers. I am also on the do not call list. And I just redid it about 6 months ago, but to no avail these idiots keep calling.

The recording when answered says it is for medicare users. I am way too young for medicare. They call EVERY SINGLE DAY! I have pushed the button to get a person, I told them I am on the "do not call list" and to please remove my number, they just hang up on me and call again.

Saw the number,goggled it.Thank God I did not pick up,I never pick up until I goggle first now.Had been had too many times,

Phone rang no one was there.  I was unable to obtain
Information, or to return the call.
