When I called back, the recorded message said they were the "Commercial Entity _____ Representatives.
(I couldn't understand the third word). I'm on the DO NOT CALL list. Why do these S.O.Bs keep calling?

Rcvd call on cell phone on 19Jun2012, Same old Credit Card Services Scam, with spoofed phone number! Robo call message stated, I was eligible for reduced rates. The recording said to press 2 to accept, press 3 to decline offer, and press 7 to stop "offers". Like that would ever happen. Do not give the criminals and information or money. This Scam has been going on for years. The last phone number I received the same scam call from was: 808-216-9287.

The DoNotCall Registry works on voluntary compliance like speed limit signs on highways. Honest telemarketers honor the Registry, abusive telemarketers and scammers do not. If you are on the Registry and you receive telemarketing calls, then the people calling you are abusive telemarketers or scammers.

Recorded message stated I was eligible for reduced rates. The recording asked me to press 2 to accept and 3 to decline offer. I do not have an account with this entity, so I simply hung up. I hope that not "engaging" with their phone system will get me out of their system.

I'm sure it's a FAKE number. A phishing scam, they call every day using a different fake ID number.
Probably some offshore mafia ring selling credit card numbers or stealing identities.

They are a scourge on the planet - dirtbags that refuse to remove people from whatever list they possess.
There are laws against this as I'm on every no call list known but somehow, these lawless freaks persist.

Credit Card Services. When asked to be removed from list the person stated: "NO" and hung up.
