I have receiving calls from this number after I placed an order w/ Newport News. I specifically de-selected the "can we contact you with sales etc" section because I don't want these calls. I haven't gotten what I ordered yet either.

Keeps calling and doesn't leave voice mail, when I do actually pick up, there is no one there.

I read this whole post.  I guess my wife orders stuff from there.  I called the number back, it is Newport News, and a slow talking women named shirley mack answered, fumbled her way through the introduction and asked how she could help me.  I promptly hung up.  I plan on hanging up on them as many times as they hang up on my machine.  Partly because I am a bitter angry person when it comes to nonsense like this, and partly because it only takes about 3 minutes out of myu day to do so.  I encourage all of you to call and hang up on them at least once.

I also placed an order with Newport News recently and started getting these calls.  Perhaps I will look for a place to report such nonsense.  I got on the do not call registry for just this reason.

I have been getting these calls too and like others I gave them my number so they could call if there was a problem with my order.  I'm going to call and get taken off their list.  I'm not sure if I will be ordering from them again if that is how they conduct business.

Thank goodness for this page!  I have been getting this call too, but only since I placed an order with the notorious Newport News the other day. Thanks all for giving me the heads-up, so next time I can take the call... put them on hold for about half an hour.. and if they are still there after that..ask them to remove me from that list!

Keeps calling and hanging up!!

I got a call from this number today and they didn't leave a message. I Googled the number and found this page. I placed an order with Newport News yesterday, so this must be who called. If it's a solicitation, I'm not going to be happy. I gave them my number so they could call if there's a problem with my order, NOT so they could call me to solicit their product.

I have been getting calls from them a lot in the last few months.  I just called them back and told them that I wanted them to stop calling me.  The clown on the other end said they would take my number off their list.  I told them that if I got one more call, I was reporting them to the Missouri Attorney Generals office.

I called this number back after receiving several calls from them.  Spoke to Shirley who thanked me for my recent order and said a sales person would be calling me again soon to discuss how I can get discounts for up to 1 year.  I told them to never call me again because whenever I answered the phone they never said anything and this is very annoying.  She said they would remove my number from their calling lists.

called me to ask if i wanted to participate in an offer for $25.00 to receive "discounts" and "free shipping" on future purchases, after saying no the first tiem, they keep calling.

I have a message on my answering machine that says I do not answer unidentified calls and after twice a day for about a month, they still haven't left a message or gotten the message. If it is Newport News, I've already had a dispute with them about a third party charging $62 to my card for some imaginery magazines. I wrote and told them I would never pay it and joined a class action suit and six months later they gave me my money back. BEWARE!

This is Newport News. My sister was calling them about being double billed for an item she ordered and this is the number they called her back from.

I just started getting these calls.  When my machine picks up, they don't leave a message; when I answer, they hang up.  According to another, similar website, this is Newport News, and they call when you place an order.  Obviously, I'm going to have to re-think ever ordering from them again.

As a follow up to my previous comment, IT DIDN'T WORK!!!  Those idiots at NN are still calling.  I'm ready to change my user name.

I have been receiving calls from this number as well, at least twice a day, sometimes three times, at different times of day.  Often they call during the week when I'm not home, but now have started calling on Saturday mornings.  I do not want to receive these calls.

Same experience as others.  I called 800-688-2830 to ask NN to remove my number, they did, apologized and hopefully I won't be bothered again.  Try it!

Newportnews no one respones

I receive calls from 1-843-460-6102 every single day. This did not start until I placed an order with Newport News.They never leave a message. It is extremely annoying.

Keeps calling, does not leave a message.  This is supposedly a marketing caller, even though my number is registered on the national 'do not call list;.

I placed an order with NPN last week (after several years) and today I got the same call as everyone else. Very annoying. I will do what the other did and change my telephone number with NPN.

Just ordered from Newport News. Received this phone call from this number. I was not home and answering machine was not on. I returned the call and got a recording saying that they were Newport News with a special offer and that they would call back at a later time. there was the option to speak to a person. I didn't do it at this time but will if calls persist. I don't want phone offers.

This number keeps calling, 2-5 times a day.  When I answer no one is there, and they never leave voice mail when I don't answer.
