Interested in hearing more about your experience with Mr. Gregory Frye of Concrete Masters. He started a job for us in early November (foundation and slab for garage) and dug non-code-conforming tiny footers, put in a flimsy 2 x 4 forms with multiple gaps, had only 2" of room for concrete in about 1/3rd of the area with loose dirt non-compacted throughout the slab, no permit or mention that his slab would not be approved for ANY structure to be placed on it, etc. Wanted us to pay thousands for cement while in the above condition saying he would fix it the morning before truck arrived. I said no...getting an inspector to validate that he did it right. He freaked. Sent me a letter today saying he was considering suing us. Any info you can provide would be helpful.
