Called here just after 6:30 am - I told her it was too early to be calling.  Her comment was, "Well, I ASSUMED you'd be up at this time of day!"  Asked to be taken off their calling list.

This number called me too.. Just a few minutes ago..looked it up and found this site.. Same thing, she's looking for a contractor..sounds too sketchy...the lady on the phone sounded persistent and firm..her name was Mary.

Just got a call from this company and called them back. When I called this number back I was told that this company gets their numbers from a company that compiles numbers for them. I asked for my number to be taken off their list. The woman was very nice about it.

My thoughts exactly.  I had to drag information out of "Crystal".  Will not be passing the message on to the owner.  Waste of time.

called my house just now about wanting to talk to the owner of the business.  Told the young lady, she called a residence.  She was polite but said that she is still required to read her script to me because its her job.  I hung up as I don't have time to listen to her selling me something that I don't need.

No, we do not have a call center or hire call centers here at Sunward. All buisness calls are done at the factory located in Walterboro SC. If you use google earth you will find a close to 500,000 sq ft manufaturing
plant at the following location. 504 Thunderbolt DR, Walterboro, 29488.

Received voice mail from Yvette:  "I am looking for a reliable contractor and was given your name and number."  I was suspicious because of the lack of information given and because the tone of her voice sounded like she was giving a sales pitch.  You know, when someone repeats the same lines so many times that you can just tell.  So I called back and the automated system that answered gave no company info, just "your call may be recorded for quality control or training purposes."  Bingo, it's a call center.

I also find it hilarious that the company is trying to defend itself here...poorly, and under multiple names.  I see "Sunward," "Montana Builder," and "Oklahoma Builder" leaving shill comments here.  Stop trying to scam people.

Ashley called stating she was from  Rockford Builders located in Denver.  She was very persistant to talk to the owner, in which she never got past me. Hang up on these people who just want your money.

Received call from Nancy asking for the owner (by Name). Replied he was not in and could take a message. She said she was with Rockford Building, 843-538-6952, and was calling about up coming construction in the area. Calls like these are not actual sales leads. They calls for us to buy someone elses product/service.

I received a call from a Brana, she stated she was with Rockford. The message was in regards to up coming Construction Projects in our area.

They may be called Lawford Steel Buildings. They want you to pay a franchise fee for a dealership.

This was 2 calls. First one said her name was Patsy and she was looking for a contractor. I called her back and asked for her. Of course she has no clue who I am so she got my name & number and her supervisor would call me back. 15 min later, supervisor called. She went through the spiel about how on a date 3 weeks from now, Lawford Metal Buildings was going to sit down at a board meeting a choose a dealer/contractor for their metal buildings from my area. But she needed to ask me some preliminary questions to see if I qualified. Everything was going fine until she asked me if I had $6,900 to pay for the small buildings dealership. I said no. End of call. It is likely legit, and a building manufacturer has to get dealers somehow, but when they say that the typical dealer builds 8 per year, I am thinking whatever, pie in the sky for a startup. They got my name out of yellow pages.

Leslie calling from 843-538-6952 left a voice message today.  No identification as to the company she was calling for.  Message said ...... "Looking for a good contractor and if we were interested or knew of anyone else who would be interested, we could call 843-538-6952".

We are a concrete supplier in New York State and will not be calling back this number.   Happy that there are sites available with "heads-up" to specific phone numbers!  Telemarketer "tricks" are really get worse!!

Yes Sunward has done some good over the past 40 years in business. It all depends on the othee company involved and whether they have a good market for steel buildings. But Sunwad employees have been trained to basically lie to potential companies by saying there is a good market when the economy is not in the best shape. I do understand that ost companies have a high turnover but theirs is extremely high. Upon being interviewed and hired employees are promised that there is a potential to make good money. That was the case several years ago...now there are so many rules in order to get a commision that its nearly immpossible. They get their leads by calling hardware stores lumber yards etc and misleading them...they claim to be looking for contractors to do work but never state that they are from a company. Its bad busniess ethics to obtain information under false pretenese. I would just encourage anyone who is thinking about becoming involved with them to do their research about Sunward and their areas maarket for steel buildings.

I received a call from this number with the general message referenced above - "we're looking for a reliable contractor and your name came up..."  The connection is that six years ago, I looked into having a steel building erected as a garage, but I never did it.  The steel building companies wanted to put it up "at a discount" if they could use it as a demo for other area buyers.  Somehow that put my "name" on a list of contractors for steel buildings.  Poor record-keeping? Or "aggressive marketing": you be the judge.  My opinion comes down on the side of incompetence, and the result was outsourced to a telemerketer.

Fed Ex, Pier 1 Imports, Sears, Dollar General and many more. Sunward is confident that future customers
will see this a a case of "sour grapes" , and will no way interfere with future buisness. Sunward looks forward
to meeting the markets demands thru it's network of independant dealers.

Sunward or Rockford or Wedgecorp is the same company. They do their own telemarketing from their factories. They use different lists of the internet or calls local lumber suppliers, redi mix plants, hardware stores etc to get names and numbers. They want u to spend $28 on a UPS package that only contains a few flyers and a dvd. Then if you are interested the dealership cost starts at around $6900 and goes up depending on the type of buildings you want to do. They promise their employees a lot of commissions and great pay but if you don't bring in deals after deals you are let go. If you become a dealer they don't do want they promise if you don't sell a buliding or two after a few months. They are quick to replace you and many potential dalers have found old dealers in their area who don't even know they are being replaced. This is a legit company baseed out of South Carolina and Colorado. They aren't a good company to get into business with or work for so don't fall for it.
