Noticed a missed call from "SSI" at 843-593-8149 on my landline when I got home from work. Promptly blocked it on my phone. Don't care if they are survey-takers or whatnot, DON'T CALL MY NUMBER!

Called me at 5:58pm, I answered, and I heard a ton of people talking in the background and then it just hung up!

It's SSI, a survey company, so they're not subject to the DNC list.
That doesn't mean I can't block them.
I called back to see if their system had a prompt for "remove my number" so that I could save a spot on my blocked list, but they don't.

They called my house at 5:41 p.m. yesterday, but didn't leave a message - the Caller ID said it SSI,
