FTC: "Robocall challenge" winner to receive $50,000

By now, everyone should have figured out that the FTC
DO NOT CALL LIST [so-called] IS JUST A BIG JOKE.  
However, everyone should keep filing their complaints,
and to keep their own respective log regarding same.
Here is an example of my own personal log-book, which
is very easily and simply kept by using "TEXT:"

I keep a separate TEXT FILE named for each and every
number I receive these damned calls from, and then to
just add to it, most recent call at the top.

Nothing is going to happen on this, unless "EVERYONE"
continually bombards the FBI, your CONGRESSMAN,
your LOCAL TV NEWS, any and all NEWSPAPERS, etc.
I have been doing this myself, but will not continue to
be the only one doing it.  Strongly suspect that at least
the FBI has now "black-balled" my email name.  Either
that, or they simply responnd as "NOT READ," just as my
Congresswoman; Kay Granger of Texas has also done.

Caller ID just said UNKNOWN NAME. I let calls go to voice mail unless I'm watching tv & the number pops up on the screen & I know the person.

I am tired of this! This person called and wait on the phone!! Unlisted ####.. Ugh!

Received call on March 1.  Did  not answer.  No message.  Have received similar calls from Florida and Kentucky.

I received a call but did not answer as I do not know who has this number. I am on the do not call list. Whoever is using this number to call people on the DNC list should be fined.

If I am on the do not call list, how do these numbers keep getting thorough and how do I STOP them?

Calls various times and dates hangs up when answered and leaves no message when not answered

DO NOT "press 1" to be unlisted!!! This is only so they know the number is active so they will use it more with other numbers!! This is the same with spam emails that say "click here to be unlisted" =only means more spam.

They call everyday all different times. When I answer there is never anyone there, or a message left on my cell when not answered!

Got a call with a recorded survey.  Hung up.

Called my cell phone 3/1/12 around 3pm EST.  Did not answer & they did not leave a VM.

03/01/2012 at 11:46 a.m. Pacific - Number is on my phone list of incoming calls. I did not answer and have not checked for a message on my voicemail because I use my cellular as my primary phone. I am located in Sacramento, California and thie phone number called is on the do not call list.

Last time this telemarketer called on 3/1/2012 10:54am Mountain Time

I am on a no call list. How can they get my number?

The caller ID displays a spoof phone number. These are identity theft scam artists. The only "free" cruise they'll offer you is on the Costa Concordia stuck on a reef or the Costa Allegra dead in the water. I have alerted associates at the agency and they will be knocking on their door shortly.  They can no longer hide behind spoof numbers and VOIP. Homeland has unraveled that scheme to locate terrorists where ever they are hiding. Tick, tock.

Received automated call at around 9pm. Let the call go to voice-mail.
Robot named "Anne" wanted me to participate in a survey, and in return I would get a free 2 day cruise.

Have been harrassed by this number several times, do not answer but they do no quit calling!
I have no idea who they are but have second number that I am also posting that may belong to the same people?

Called yesterday; left no message.  Caller ID said Charleston, SC.  Another junk call!

If you have been on the DNC List for more than 31 days and have received calls from this number, report it to the FTC at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2 It is the only way to have them fined and get them to stop.

Robocall about taking a survey and then winning a "free" cruise.  The thing is the cruise is not free, you have to give them your credit card number to "hold" your reservation, the "small" fees are not small, and those fees are NOT refundable!

These crooks are calling from a lot of different phone numbers (spoofing their Caller ID information) with this SCAM which is hiding behind a survey.  It is not a real survey.  It is not affiliated with any political party.  Do not take the survey!

The people behind this are either from a travel agency or a cruise line with an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau.  They are making illegal telemarketing calls.  They have hooked a lot of people with this scam.  Do not fall for it.  Report them immediately to www.donotcall.gov.
