Yes it is. But it's still a total scam. They are not from any governmental agency. You can check this out by calling your local county.
Also report this matter to the County Sheriff or police. They are impersonating a governmental agency. They are not going to show up at your job. No real process server lets you know in advance that they are going to show up. They just do.
Don't call back, don't talk to them, if they call you and say you have a debt, tell them that they must send you a debt validation letter by US mail. E-Mail no good. Don't let them intimidate you with worthless threats.

This comes close to outright extortion. Make sure you go to your local law enforcement agency and report this.

It's scary cause they have all of ur info and even saying their from the county and I had to call 1-844-680-5763 to keep them from showing up at my job...this is ridiculous

Total scam. Don't talk to them and don't give them any information if you do talk to them.

This is the third call I've gotten. My phone cannot identify the number, shows as either "unknown" or "0000000000". People will not identify themselves, they only say I must verify my identity and address so they can deliver "legal documents".

844-234-8709 and 844-211-9531 are working together. The 9531 number says he is officer B---- (not audible) and has to serve me documents and he needs my address and employer. The 8709 number was a woman and did not identify herself.
My relatives and friends have all been contacted. I believe they have hacked into my cell phone contact list. Most of those phone numbers are unlisted numbers.
I called my local sheriff's office. He said this scam has been going on since spring 2014. It is now June 19, 2014.
WATCH OUT!!!!! Alert your friends and relatives NOT to give out information. My relatives and friends were smart enough not to give out information.
This all started when I opened a REDcard at Target. I think my unlisted phone number was taken from this source and now they have hacked my cell phone.
