I recieved a call from the same number and amanda smith left a voicemail sayn the exact same thing about serving papers in two days and needing two forms of id. When i calld the numbr back she left it was 8447512080. I was then transferred to bryan o' connor in which i could have sworn tht was paul walker's character in the fast and the furious movies. Ive had papers served to me before to appear in court nothing pertaining to what they are insisting and even then i did not get a heads up so with that being said scam. Also on the voicemail the amanda girl says her office is legal support services but the number you call back they claim they are with j and r litigation. Total scam!

OTOH, good advice about contacting original lender. Thanks for sharing that. Thumbs up from my btw.
Now, you note "The only scam here is the people who take a loan out and never pay it back." Now, this is the problem. I'm not seeing anyone here indicating they took the loan and never paid it back

i like my salmon with a little minced shill on top...anyone got any?
atreyu 2014-05-05 20:43:34 Unknown
no, you should have accepted the free frontal lobotomy. You're not using that part of your brain anyway.
snyper 2014-05-05 20:40:41 Unknown
oh go screw a light bulb into an empty socket, it might appear to make you look useful.
your mother 2014-05-05 20:34:28 Unknown
Here is what you can do. Call the original creditor give them the account number and verify the loan. When you realize we are calling about a loan that was never paid back and have every legal right to do so you can then stop bashing us for doing our job. The only scam here is the people who take a loan out and never pay it back.

Another scam originating in India. ACS or PCS.

Looks to me like the shill is getting served a large helping of humble pie
ShillKill 2014-05-03 23:12:06 Unknown
Wow -- how ironic of you to call anyone a dumb a** (unless you are talking to yourself). Can you point out exactly where Tami indicated she took out any type of loan in her post? Please enlighten us.
If not, you have demonstrated beyond a reasonable doubt you are nothing more than an illiterate cretin. But thanks for coming by so we can all have a good laugh at your expense.
araT 2014-05-03 23:11:58 Unknown
Poster can't because there isn't any. Just another deadbeat who doesn't pay his own bills sounding off, trying to look big.

Funny, you haven't posted up any legal name, legal street address, no website, no BBB info for anyone to verify legitimacy of said operation. However, on google, did find a few interesting things..

DeezNutz 2014-05-03 21:50:27 Unknown
This is by far the laziest debt collection company I've ever seen. They resort to using scare tactics in hopes that you come to them! They can call and leave messages all they want, but until they actually get off their a** and do something I won't be taking them seriously.
your mother 2014-05-01 19:52:20 Unknown
They have all the info because it was provided when the loan was taken out dumb a**. We are collecting delinquent loans nothing is a scam about it.

Extortion Scam Related to Delinquent Payday Loans
Washington, D.C.
December 07, 2010 FBI National Press Office
(202) 324-3691
The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.
According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.
The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Slim 2014-03-23 01:31:59 Unknown
Legitimate process servers do not call to warn you, or to get money from you to stop the process.
More information about that scam is at
http://phonehelp.2truth.com/facts.html
That site also shows how other 800notes visitors have reduced the number of telephone scams and telemarketing calls they receive. (And, a link to Amazon's phone blocker devices and apps is there as well).

My sister received a call from a woman ? Jennifer Gonzales a few weeks ago and she said they were going to serve the papers either Friday or Monday. Something about a court summons, the number was 844 277-2993 and they gave a docket number. Then my brother in law received a call from Legal Support Services saying I had a court summons from a county I have never been to and gave the same phone number and docket number. Very upsetting that they are calling family members and making it look like I did something wrong.

Received a call from a "Richard Greco (sp)" stating an individual at my home address was going to be served papers. Still haven't received any and haven't called the number. I'm almost 100% certain this is a scam. The didn't even give a name for the person being served.

Ingrid 2014-03-10 15:12:26 Unknown
I received a call from the same number 8442772993 I did return the call and they answered they mentioned they needed to go to my house and drop off some papers and needed two types of identification in order to serve and that I was being charged with fraud!! What in the world if I were to be I wouldn't of received a phone call in the first place... It's scary!

Received call saying a summons would be given to me at work if I didn't pay 5000 for check fraud
