Can you tell me if 1-844-292-9508 is connected with a Company named, The Lincoln Group in LA, CA 90071 that deal with Civil Cases?

I recieved a call today. They said the where serving me court papers. and that i owed well fargo like 6 grand for not closing an account.

My sister had actually received a call from this number telling her I was being served in a civil suit.  She asked how they got her number and they said her number was noted as being a secondary contact to reach me.  I called them back and they proceeded to tell me I am being sued for a credit card that I never had.  When I asked about any letters sent they said they hadn't been able to get a hold of me.  They told me the address they had, which was an old one from 5 years ago.  I told them if they are who they say they are then they would know that was an old address and they would have means to get the correct one.  Then I hung up on him.  I knew this was a scam from the start.  This is not the first time I have gotten calls like this.  I would love to know how to put a stop to it.  

got phone call with no return call service to call 844-292-9508 for serving papers -and they dont have information for what either??

Threatening to serve me for a bill I don't have.  Not sure of the company's name.  Will call from local numbers but when you return the call, the number is disconnected.

Received phone call.  Said I was going to get sued for not paying bill. Would not tell me what the bill was from. Just that they purchased it and was attempting collection.
