My fiance and I received a call from the same group. 'Brain' was his name. He was threatening 'civil action'  and court. Did anyone else here get the threat of a court date?

We got several of the same calls but the funny part is that they were looking for my husband's ex-wife.  I know she owed alot of debt everywhere.  They also called my husband's cell phone as they always call there lookig for her.  So i just lef the information as to where she works and told them to stop calling my house.

If they are calling lying about who they are I'm sure not sending in no kind of payment !!! Scammers !!

Got an address from them finally after 7 phone calls. Each call went to somewhere different....

I've now heard them call themselves "Lincoln Group" "Lincoln Company" and "Lincoln Association"

Follow-up from my original call speaking with Brian at "Lincoln Association"... I called back after Brian hung up on me for calling him out on being a debt collector... Spoke with the male "secretary" who answers their phone (who also answers with a different greeting and combination of company name each time) and asked for their address. He asked for my case number and I told him it wasn't important, I explained that I needed the address to mail them payment. He refused to give it to me and asked for my name. I refused to give that to him and asked for the address again and he said "How do we know what you're sending?" and I asked him "why does it matter what I'm sending if it's payment?". He only offered to put me on hold while he 'looked it up' after trying to put me on hold to get me back with Brian. I hung up before he put me on hold, and when I called back, the call rang 4 times and went to a very non-descript answering machine and I hung up. If it was a REAL law office, there would be a legitimate answering machine at least.

Yes he was ugly with me also very !! Rude ...I'm going to threaten them next call I receive and he told me he couldn't discuss the matter ok but you called me so I called the number left on my voicemail And no one answered it sound like a fax but I'm recording the call next time for now they are going on my block list  !!

Ok to call and threaten me is way to much drama I'm going through enough in my personal life to be getting these harassed & unprofessional calls from this bill collectors .. Stressing me out leaving nasty messages I will pay for a lawyer and countersue and maybe then I can pay you for stress&trauma !!calling from a prefix of 337 to only leave a message with this number of 844  God-Bless you all

Its a debt collector. "Lincoln Association" trying to collect on a US Bank account that was closed with a balance in 2005. They wouldn't admit to being a debt collector, I asked them to mail me proof of the debt and the guy got really rotten with me when he realized he wasn't scaring me.

Yes me too saying I would be delivered a letter at my home address !!! These ppl need to stop buying these old bills and trying to sue us for it I know my bill is over 12 yrs duh !!!

Me too what did they say? They were trying to get money from me saying I was being sued
