i've been receiving harrassing phone calls for the last 2 weeks from 844-715-7284 telling me i must call them back they have received papers on their desk with my name on them and my social security #. if i do not call them back then all they can say is good luck to me . today 7/10/14 from a melissa who said i better call her back immediatley she received papers on her desk with my name and SS # on them . if i dont call her back before 7/16/14 she will be showing up at my home and work to serve me cetified papers on 7/16/14. they never say what it's about just threaten you. if they show up at my work i'am going to call the police and press charges against them for harrassment and threating me and have them arrested. cyber bullies.

Don't bother making coffee for the caller.  He will NOT be showing up.  REAL process servers just come without warning.  This is a scam to extort money from you.

Received threat of lawsuit and/or jail for not paying to company they are collecting for called Online Advanced which I did not do business with.  First a Julianne called, then I called back her number at 844-823-0320, then a Mr. David picked up at 844-715-7284 saying I defaulted on payment arrangement oif $1423.23 of which I think they scammed me out of $250 because I was scared I would be arrested.  After investigation a little more, I asked Mr. David several questions about who, where and why and was placed on several holds then an obnoxious Mr. Myers came on the phone and threatened me in which I told him I would have my attorney call them, at which time he was so rude and I hung up.  Are these scammers trying to get at our monies????

Courier scam is exactly what this is!!!!!! They give you another number for claims... Y'all didn't get me this time!!!!!!

I keep gettung calls saying they will show up at my job and house. But nothing yet. They show up on my property that will have bigger things to worry about.

It used to be the process server scam, then the Locator scam and now, they are using the courier scam. There is no courier and it is all a scam to try and make you think that an impending legal action is going to happen if you don't pay them. Think about it..why would any collection agency stalk you at your home and work, when they could send it cheaper by certified mail or fed ex to get a signature back that you received something? Because it is all a scam to freak you out into calling these bottom feeding criminals. There is no lawsuit pending... just a scam. Don't fall for it.

I just received a call from 844-781-2070 (on my caller ID) and the message was from some male by the same name (Robert Elliott) and he stated the same information and he asked me to call back 844-715-7284but I think it?s from a collection agency.  I?ve received these types of calls in the past and I?ve never received any visitors to my home or work.  I?ve even call my local Sheriff?s office and they?ve checked in the past my name and nothing was scheduled to come to me when I get these calls.  The Sheriff?s office has told me that if you?re going to be served, that process server would have local contact information that you can call back and get proper information and their identification.  If they?re calling from long distance numbers, then I was told that they?re not legitimate.

Unless, they are planning to jump on a plane from New Delhi, India you have no worries. This is a scam and the number is listed as Delhi Mobile Network. It is a pity that they are harrassing you at work and that is what they aim for, to try and harrass you to the point where you pay them off. They troll social media sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn to get information. Always keep your information private and only available to connections.

I just filed a complaint at http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx about this.  They have called my office several times, even after I gave them my cell number.  I've asked them to email me information on their company and the debt I owe and I've received nothing from them.  When you question their motives they start yelling at you.  Just last week they called my office and my boss told them not to call here & they called right back, I answered the phone, & they started yelling.  I just hung up.  Now this James White at 844-781-2070 called saying he's from Courier One Services & he's going to deliver some papers to me on Friday, June 13, 2014 between 12p-5p unless I call 1-844-715-7284.  I've called before. They give me no information and I'm not giving my credit card or checking account info out.

This is from 4 years ago, yet they keep coming up with new twists to word their scams.

A Notice of Intent is used for business contracts or public agency filings, not for civil lawsuits.  The term just sounds threatening.

There is no such filing to preempt any type of "claim" or court action - these scammer, bottom feeding criminals use something that sounds plausible to try and scare people into calling back.  They know that a person can call the county clerk or go online and search for filings, thereby discrediting their lame attempt that they actually are serving you with court papers.  Don't fall for the scam.  Report them to local law enforcement as well as going to these websites:

Will it stop the embarrassing calls at your place of employment or relatives?  Probably not; however, there are so many scams out there that people are becoming immune to these lame attempts to try and scare, extort you into paying these thugs off.

I find it impossible to believe that you let several people knock on your door, threaten to break in, and harass you for an hour, and you didn't call 911.  You're a glutton for punishment if this REALLY happened.

Yes, they began calling me last year and then they actually knocked on my door for an hour, I could hear two men and a woman laughing and insulting us and threatening to call the police and break down our door.  When I spoke with "John Jacobs" he told me that I had to make a payment within 24 hours or they would sue me, well it's a year later, no suit has been filed but they are harassing my friends about us again.  If you hear from them again, I strongly suggest turning them into the police, I know I am.  (They refused to tell me who I owed, just said I wrote a bad check but I don't use checks).

I have received two calls from a Robert Elliott with Courier One Service stating that he is going to deliver paper work to my home or place of employment if I do not call 844-715-7284. He also has a case number for something that I have no idea what it is. If this is a real collection company, they would go through the courts and file their paperwork there. Is this real or what???

I just received a message from this no-name company saying they would show up on May 28th between 12 and 5pm. I decided that they will not show up at work - I told them that the person they're looking for no longer works at this establishment.

Just received a phone call from a Mr Robert Elliot saying that he will be visiting me either at my residence or my place of employment with a certified notice of intent and I was to call 844-715-7284.  He called from 844-781-2070 and left this message and that I have been notified.  He is to show up unless I call to clear up this on May 28th.  He also had a claim number 135122.
I tried calling and the line was always busy.  Did you just ignore or did anyone get ahold of this place.  He didn't say what it was for or the place of business.

i JUST RECIEVED A PHONE CAL FROM THIS PHONE # 844-715-7284.  THAT THEY WILL DELIVER SOME PAPERS TO ME AND THAT WITH THIS PHONE CALL I HAVE BEEN PUT ON THEIR SCHEDULE TO BRING ME SOME PAPAERS.  I HAVE KNOW IDEA WHAT THEY WANT.  I MIGHT JUST CALLED THEM AFTER WORK AND SEE WHAT THEY WANT.  THEY DID NOT EVEN SAID THEIR COMPANY NAME THAT THYE ARE COLLING FORM.

This is an ongoing scam to extort money.  There are no charges unless you receive written documents.  Do not worry about their idle threats.
