this number called my job talking about they need to serve me papers.

My boss received a call from this number 844-833-7421 talking about they want to serve me papers at my job.  I have not called them back yet because I think it's a scam to get money.

Real legal servers do not call i advance. Nor would they need the information.  Some things you should do, google your names and also phone numbers. Any place like spokeo that shows up, make them remove your information. I've seen places that also lists relatives come up on search.

I have had the very similar. The caller knew my name and would not give their name till I verified mine.Then gave her name and she was with Assets Investigations. I questioned her about several things including who are they.?   then she said my son had given my address, which she knew, I did not confirm that was my address. she said she had some papers he had to sign and I was going to be served them. That I was to forward them to him??  I told her I dont know his address.
She said she would give me an extra day. No papers have been served, they have called a couple of times and I do not answer she was very vague about what the papers were for. Gave me this 844 number and a case number to find out more info. I did not call it. since when can you serve a third party papers to forward to someone Please!
Also called my other son's cell. How they got that is beyond me with the same crap. He called the 844 number and got some bs. I told him not to call these people back.  Big scam

This so called collection agency has been calling me since 19 Mar 2014.  This morning they called at 0430 on my cell, my wife's cell and the home number.  I called them on Thu, but they were looking for someone not living here.  They refused to give me any info, even thou they ask for me by name.
