Same later dated May 20th. No return address. Signed by Caroline Hunt. Phone number is 844-816-5609. Total scam. I have been dodging thier calls through caller ID.
Actually received a letter in the mail indicated they have tried calling me unsuccessfully (which they haven't) and this letter is the last attempt they will take to contact me awarding me 2 round trip airline tickets. They must have changed tactics a bit from the above as the phone number is 855-770-6633 and the letter is signed by Courtney Hughes. The letterhead says 'Compair - explore - dream - discover' at the top. The bottom logo says 'Green America Certified Business' and 'US Travel Association Member' along with a white airplane in a blue circle. Stay away from these scammers!
Comp Air is now using 844-334-4963 as a new and alternative number. Same SCAM, Same Letter
I got the same letter today from Courtney Hughes same amount . I will take it to the post office & report. Thks
Any letters received through US mail which are fraudulent in nature you should be turned over to the post office with a request that the postal inspector look into it. This is mail fraud. The people committing this fraud assume that people will simply toss the card and that they have nothing to fear from postal authorities. Always report them.
Me too, I got the free airfare letter. How do you catch these people?
I too got a letter that said that my husband and I won two round trip airplane tickets, but the person's name is Courtney Hughes, and the number is 1-855-763-5777.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Letter same as above dated April 28, 2014 and I also won 2 round trip airline tickets.....BUT, DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER. 1-844-334-5031 and signature looks like this 2nd grader hand writing: "Crthi V made into a weird H iah". No way it's legit.
I think it's a bill collector, trying to trap you.
Mine has 844-856-2547
Skip would this not be cc fraud since they open an account and charge my cc? I would get my $$ back from the cc company and I would think visa would go after them...no???
ok so I confirmed meeting with these scammers tomorrow at 4, they actually rent out an office building and have presentations..they emailed me a confirmation letter, address etc. does anyone know who I can send this scam stuff to??? I got a letter on April 30th that said I have qualified for an award of a 2 round trip airline tickets....I called "Coreen Hayes" or the "business" and set up an appt because I want to see these scammers face to face..not sure if I have time to follow thru but wish I did. Here's the numbers that they are using here in Gurnee, IL 844-334-5030
Received a letter today from "Coreen Hayes" (although the signature looks like "Arthur" something-or-other) with the phone number 1-844-792-7006 saying Compair has tried to get me numerous times. I have no-more-robocalls so I know this had to have been a scam and was glad to read that many others who had the same experience put their letters in the circular file.
Received a letter with letterhead: COMPAIR Explore - Dream - Discover, no contact info except tel no 844-856-2547.
Telling me I qualified for an award of 2 round-trip airline tickets, etc. Obviously a scam.
This looks like mail fraud to me. Take copies of anything you have received and go to the post office and request the postal inspectors to investigate the matter.
I got a letter from "COMPAIR" dated May 5th, 2014 saying that I have qualified for an award of 2 round-trip airline tickets worth $1450.00. My scam alert flags went up and I googled the area code in the postmark (73125) along with the name COMPAIR and found this site. The envelope had no return address and there is no return address on the letter either. The phone number they want me to call is 1-844-334-4974. The letter is from a "Courtney Hughes" Vice President. I have gotten at least 1 or 2 other letters similar to this, but just tossed them.
shame on them
Rec letter same letter stated also the same . How can the sleep .. etc .. (Karma when return to them i hope
I agree that the letter head looks like a fake
there was double spacing where you do not do a letter . I have gotten several calls also
Thanks to all who posted above. I changed my search to COMPAIR TRAVEL and came to the following page that spells out in more detail how they work the scam, in a posting by "Jerry and all":
I'm in Phoenix AZ. Mine came in an envelope with no return address, with postmark saying "MAILED FROM ZIP CODE 73125" which is Oklahoma City OK; and "MAY 2014", no day of month, and a colorful Presorted Standard stamp. There was no number on the envelope that could identify the presorted mailer. Haven't seen that before. It had the COMPAIR letterhead and did not mention a fake airline company, but had U.S. TRAVEL Association member at the bottom. Other details were as reported by others, the $1,450.00, the impending deadline (May 22 for me), and the Vice President (in my case Courtney Hughes at 844-334-4973).
I found the web page for US Travel Association, and sent a note to their "membership" address to challenge their appearance on a sleazy come-on; they didn't show any email address for standards, abuse, etc.
It's been suggested by several, including one who claimed to be a former postal employee, that the Post Office might be interested in this. I suspect it's just that a sucker would end up paying some substantial "fees" on a very restrictive ticket.
GOT A LETTER TODAY LOOK IT UP AND FOUND THIS HAD ONE FOR SOMEONE ELSEWERE STUCK TO IT WILL GET RID OF IT TO #844-890-4114 BOTH LETTERS SAME #
