They do not give a name or Co. name. They just say they want to file a claim. Gave me claim # 79175 and to call 844-952-7336.

I just recvd the call but it was from a 714- i answer and of course asks if im going to be home between 12-4. and then proceeds to ask if im even aware of the file thats being claimed against me. Why are they asking if im going to be home ?? if its legitimate wouldnt they just send the papers ??? This is the 2nd time they have called me and the first time they asked if I revcd the paperwork about 30-45 days ago . She just told me to call the 844 number to find out. Needless to say i will not be calling that number

Just from someone who used to be a bill collector himself -- it is illegal according to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act to give ANY information about a debt to anyone other than yourself and a BLOOD RELATIVE. You guys might want to bring that up if any of you decide to call these people back. I find it makes them truly quake in their boots when they discover they're trying to deal with someone who actually knows what's going on.

I was called by a "process server" and so was my sister (for me)....they used my ex husbands last name for me, which i havent been since 2012, as i was remarried shortly after my divorce. They gave the 944-952-7336 number as a call back and a case number as well. Im just gonna chock this up to bull.

Scam attempt - REAL process servers do not call you. They just show up to do what they were paid to do - serve you court papers.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. A legitimate debt collector agency should not have a problem with giving you a real business name and address you can google and verify via google street view, BBB etc.

My daughter in law got a call at her place at work saying they were a process server looking for me & that I needed to contact them immediately. She gave me this number & said they gave the name of "LG Group". I called them & a woman answered but did not give the name. I asked her if this was the LG Group, she said yes & asked how she could help me. I told her I was returning a call & she was transferring me when I asked her if she didn't need the reference number I was given. Then she said yes, so I gave it to her. She transferred me then. I got voice mail with a man saying leave a name & number. I hung up.
