Just received a call from someone names John with a heavy accent saying similar things as others have mentioned in their messages. I told him I need to get my husband call him back and he gave me 888-577-4003 to call back. Where can we report this? It is obvious they are still in business.

I hate this company too. They are thieving fraudsters and need to be stopped. They may have taken your hard earned money from you, but your suffering is now over. Thankfully for the employees, directors and shareholders of this company their suffering has only just begun - for they will forever carry the burden and shame of being parasites, liars and cheats. This stigma can induce extreme psychosis and anxiety especially within the context of a strictly religious and secular society. Such willfully dishonest behaviour is frowned upon and can ultimately lead to total dissociation from their own family because of the shame their activities bring on their family name. This company employs rotting, soulless corpses - devoid of ambition, hope or redemption - they are outcasts of society, who are hopelessly aware that their activities anger their Gods and ultimately compromise their standing within their own community.

They said they would ck. my PC for errors and delete unwanted files that were slowing my PC down. They took control of my PC and I paid them 135.00 for no improvement in computer performance. I had my credit card changed, The PC was slower than it was before they worked on it. I get all kind of emails now every day. Don't open any of them.  The e-mail they gave was

Definitely a SCAM!!
I suspected it from the start and my suspicions were confirmed when "Brock" had me bring up the screen containing the Warning! and Error event list. He claimed each of those items were either a virus or malware that had been installed on my computer and that if I didn't connect to his web site so that he could remove them... MY COMPUTER COULD LOCK UP AND BE RUINED AT ANY TIME!!!    He determined this without even asking what kind of errors or warnings were on the list.   When I told him I suspected him of being a scammer  he went through the "I'm legit because I know your registration number" routine others have mentioned. As my daughter pointed out to me, the number he leads you to could be anything and is probably the same on every computer. When I further questioned him he started getting rude and a little bit nasty (great customer relations!). Then he threatened to block my computer for ten minutes to "prove" his legitimacy.  After hearing that, I said goodbye and hung up on him.
At the worst, these people are identity thieves. At the best, they probably do some minor de-bugging and over-charge you for what they do.        I agree with the idea:Waste their time, then hang up!   BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!

Received a call today from Eric Johnson.  Smooth talker that gave me the phone number of his company as 1-888-577-4003.  Wanted me check for a virus on my computer.  I asked a lot of questions  as to how he had my phone number, he said he received it from Microsoft.  I asked which of my computers had the problem and he started going on with --its ok if your computer has a virus I was just trying to help you.  I asked what it cost and he said it would cost me nothing.  I told him to have a good day --that I was going to report him to the better business bureau and he hoped I had a bad day.  After hanging up I called the 888-577-4003 number and asked to speak with him.  He finally came on the phone.  I think asked again what this free service was going to cost and he said it was according to what type of virus he found on my computer.  I thought he knew before he called.

I got a call from a man named Brock and said he was a service provider for windows. He even knew my license computer number and was showing me how to get rid of these errors on my computer through a website called www.ammyy.com. I didn't believe him and felt like it was a scam. I also noticed my mouse started to move by itself so i unplugged it and told him to remove me from his call list. I then hung up. Don't trust him he also has an indian accent.

my parents that have no commuter skills but are trying to learn have gotten calls for three days from this phone#.
my mom asked me to speak to the caller his name was Broch ! this gentleman was rude and pushy ,not professional at all
insisting that I go to my computer right now because it is sending out a signal to windows / some type of warning
that he needed to walk me through fixing. I asked for his phone # and stated that I had just come through the  door and needed a few minutes to get my coat off and grab my cell phone as the computer is not located by a phone. the caller asked how long I would need, my reply was about 5 min, he then asked me if he really had to wait 5 min? he then insisted that I give him my cell phone # and he would call me .  At this point I google his #  so glad I did. Are home will not speak to him again.

I am in the UK and have just put the phone down to these people for the second time within a week (same guy)!!
The young man on the other end of the line insisted on telling me I had "bad" things on my windows (i don't use windows!!!) computer that my antivirus software doesn't prevent and without his help the problem would only get worse. I asked what company he works for & how he came across my information, he replied his company looks after all the computers in the world and he works for International Technical Support Company?.again I asked for the company name and told him I thought this was a scam. He got fairly irate after this and after several requests gave me the company name Isecurevap and continued to lecture me on how without his help my computer will stop working altogether, it was at that point I decided to call his buff and said if he was who he claims then why does he not know that I don't use windows and use Mac instead. I cannot believe he tried back peddling and claimed he had said earlier in our conversation that he said windows or Mac (he didn't).  Needless to say I knew all along it wasn't legitimate and continued a lengthy debate with him on why I thought it was a scam (all credit to the guy.. he wasn't gonna give up) think like others posters we should continue to waste their time as it could prevent someone somewhere  getting scammed.

SCAM!!!
Well..the # that comes up on my caller id starts with a 703 area code...the person that called me said that their name was Aryan Harrison (asked for spelling that is how they spelled it out to me) very thick accent. I asked for their number, they had a hard time telling me the number but finally got the 845-363-6555Tried telling me that I too have computer issues....asked him/her which one (a little bait and switch on my account) and which IP address. "I cannot give you that information"..I was very respectful until none of what I was asking was directly answered and I totally messed with their day by telling them that my husband is in Network Security (TRUTH) and that we have AWESOME security on all of our devices.  I got a pause and then they tried to recover themselves. My husband heard most of the conversation and gave me the thumbs up with what I was saying, especially when I said "Please do not call this number again, you are trying to scam me and I am going to report you
Aryan hung up rather quickly at that.

They tried to get me, and I am a 76 year old grandma, to do their bidding.  At first, I was confused and concerned over all the viruses they said I had on my computer.  I started asking many questions:  who are they; the name of their company; to which one of them (I spoke to three different people) answered "why do you want to know that"; how do they know I have viruses; etc.  One of them told me that they know my "computer number" that's how they can identify it.  He told me: "I bet you don't know how to identify it", and I said no, I don't - tell me what it is.  He did - according to him it is 888DCA60.  Then he said something about ICQ number.  Finally, I asked him if he knows my IP number - he did not.
So we went round and round, with me not understanding their accents and rapid way of speaking, including faint voice transmission with a great amount of noise in the background.  They told me to do something on the keyboard, but it seems I didn't have the button they were looking for (windows); then we went into the start button, then to "run" button on which I was encouraged to click.  That's where I stopped and said NO WAY.  I am not computer savy, but know that "run" is used to execute a program, so I bulked, even though there was nothing that I knew that could be executed  With each segment of the phone conversation, I became more and more suspicious.  Finally, I told them that I would call them back.  Two of them told me their names and wanted to know exactly when I would be calling back.
After all this, I began to research them, and became absolutely convinced that they are not legitimate.
Not only is this a scam, but if you click on their site you should not miss the fact that the blurb there was not written by an American.  Also note that they say: The iSecureVap logo is not property of isecurevap.com.  Google also tells you that the site (isecurevap.com)  may be hacked.  All warning signs to not let your computer into strange hands.  And who would ever allow their computer to be entered based on an internet site or a phone call?

BEWARE of this company... I just received a call from ISecureVAP. They called to "make me aware that my computer was infected with viruses". Told me to go to my computer and they would "walk me through the steps, to eradicate the virus." Needless to say, I did NOT fall for the scam.

The people at isecurevap are terrible actors, I let them show me where these "errors" were. When I told them what kind of files I found he said "dear god" in a worried voice, I new at that point he was full of it. Anyway I continued to talk to him for an hour while I did paperwork, cooked dinner. Most telemarketers are not very bright.. I like to think I saved a bunch of other people a call from these scam artists.

Telemarketing has to be stopped. Hanging up on them does not work, yelling at them does not work, writing long diatribes on line does not work.
Talking to them is the only thing that will stop this disease. I love talking to telemarketers, I try to keep them on the phone as long as possible. I start doing the dishes, cooking, cleaning my house. That way they are not wasting my time.  I pretend I am interested in their products, they won't hang up if they thing there is a possibility of making a buck.  I have talked to some for over an hour! I got lots done. I like to think I am saving hundreds of other people from getting a phone call from them because they are talking to me.

It is important for us to waste their time, because that is the only weapon we have against them. If enough people did this they could not stay in business. They would not be able to find the suckers amoungst the people like me. Don't do them the favor of swearing at them or hanging up. That is how they screen people They rely on people cursing an hanging up. Waste their time and end telemarketing forever.

The people that call are from call centers, they feed leads to the businesses. When I pretend to sign up for their services maybe the businesses have to pay a fee for the lead. So we can cost them money by pretending to accept the service. This is the only thing they understand, if telemarketing wasn't profitable they would not do it. People can stop telemarketers simply by talking to them. I make appointments withe alarm companies and they come out and I waste even more of their time.
So much so that they have put me on the do not call list.
