texted me referring to an item for sale on craigslist.  although (I put NO TEXT PLEASE in ad).
tease is "i will pay full price for your bike"  yes they did refer to specific item so it is a human scam, not a robot.  But I say "danger, Danger, will Robinson"

Someone called wanting to purchase a 4 wheeler listed on Craigslist.  They sent a check for $2,317.13 drawn on Carolina State Bank to pay the $1,400.00 asking price and said to give the balance to the person who would come by and pick up the 4 wheeler.  The signature was a Barry Sanders.  Of course the check was bad and no one ever showed up to get the 4 wheeler.  This check scam is one of the more popular with internet thieves.  Don't cash or deposit a check these people send you

I've been getting dozens of calls from this and countless other NY numbers on my cell phone, all the same mechanical silence, all hours.  There is never a person.  I continue blocking the calls and then they come through on another number.  My cell is also my business number and I'm getting charged for incoming calls. I need to find a way to stop these jerks!

I have received over 17 calls from this # since 3/16/12. All hours...when you answer you get an auto goodbye and click. When the dude did say hello , he wanted to speak to the person who handles the credit cards. I told him no one has CC and he said uh, ok I'll call back later.
I lost my mind and yelled ,do not call again ! Why would  U need to call? He rudely hung up...and called 2 days later.
I'm trying to find on reverse look up ,either the name of the co. or the idiots who are constantly harrassing people over the phone. When you call back u get a machine and I left a message today saying  I would report them to the phone co. and god help them if they are a business, because the BBB will be notified! Help me track these loosers down!

Someone just called me from this number saying I qualified to save money from Central Hudson if I could just give them my account number they could make sure my savings are credited. I asked if they were an energy supplier and they ask me who my supllier was. I asked for their phone number - the guy got agitated and said "you don't have caller id?" I said I would have my husband call him and to please stop calling in the mean time and he started yelling at me "All I asked is one question and now you have to"  yada yada yada - click. This is a scam to switch you're energy account without realizing it. Never give them your account number - its seen as permission to switch.

The person on the other end said they were from NYSEG Customer Choice.  I hung up.

This number keeps calling.  I finally answered and a woman asked to speak with whoever handles the electric bill.  Assuming it was a scam, I told her to wait a minute, and laid the phone down.  Guess she finally hung up after 3 or 4 minutes.

This number has called my unlisted phone 3 times now. First time I didn't answer, second time it was a young black man, third time it was a black lady (yeah, I could tell by their voices). Both the man and the woman had the same pitch, they ask to speak to whoever's in charge of the electric account, then they say something about buying gas and electric at a discounted rate. They make it sound like they're affiliated with NYSEG but thy aren't. It's some kind of scam. They immediately ask for your electric account number. DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!!!! There are a few energy companies out there that are complete scams, and they will take your account number and switch you to their outrageously priced service without even getting your permission or knowledge. Do not give these people ANY personal info!! If you are unsure, just call NYSEG (or whatever power company you use). This reminds me of some door-to-door power salsemen that came around last winter, they were asking to see my bill (to get my acct #), acting like they were with my power company. I looked into the comapnies back then and found it ws all a big scam. They sign you up and the energy is so badly overpriced, they will ruin your credit and charge you enormous termination fees, and on top of it all they want you to become a salseman for them and get all your friends and family to sign up. BIG TIME SCAM!!!!

When I called the number back, I got a message that said "The google voice subscriber you have called is not available."
